As usual, my funny is about Thomas. They are trying to teach him that it is improper to show his underwear to people. (He likes to show everyone what pictures are on them etc). They just had a satellite system put in a couple days ago and Thomas was showing the installer his underwear! Kelly said that wasn't the worst though. She and her husband were in their bedroom with the installer trying to move stuff so he could put it in and Thomas came running in yelling at the top of his lungs, "My penis is on fire, my penis is on fire!" Is he related to his NONNY or what? :lol:

Hi girls just popping in quickly to say hi. Hope everyone had a good halloween...I went trick or treating with my nephews and managed to get some candy myself...heeheehee it was fun.

I got 4pts for yesterday. I weigh in tomorrow and see how it goes, but for some reason I don't think very good...TOM is here once again!!! I think the new birth control may be too low in hormones and isn't working on me very well, I need to speak with my gyn and see how I can go around it...I can't use the other ones because of my PCOS...bummer...okay that's all girls take care.

Hi all, my computer has been down for the last couple of days. I have missed you!

I guess everybody weighs in on Friday. I weighed in at 298---ugh. Got a lot of work to do.

Points, 2 for Wed and 1 each for Thur and Fri, 2 for Sat. Getting my water in and getting better about exercising. The tips for my swollen ankles and legs are working, they weren't bad at all on Friday! Grocery shopping is on the agenda for tomorrow. Looking for good, low carb stuff that my son will like too.

I have news for today. I have been talking with a gentleman on line and on the phone for the last 3 weeks and I finally met him in person today! I went to see him at his work, he manages a convenient store, nice and safe, lots of people around. Very nice guy, we are going out next weekend. A date!!! OMG, it has been a long time. What do I wear??? A whole week to get stressed!!!
Aargh.

Brother, my food this weekend has been a disaster. We are shampooing carpets downstairs so the only place to stick furniture is the entranceway and kitchen which means high fat junk, but the last of the carpets is done today and I can move most of the furniture back this morning, yippee. My exercise consisted of moving furniture this weekend and walking around Lowes for an hour, but I am going to the mall to walk sometime today to get it in.

As for the poll, I think I would go with the Senator. That way, I could unload what I think about what is going on with this country! Luckily, Bill Frist who is the Senate Majority leader is from here in Tennessee so I get a double shot! :) I can wave to all the other cuteys I guess.

Well, need to get going, have lots to do today!

Boy, yesterday was one of those days where I just got NOTHING accomplished....sat around like a SLUG and just wanted to eat, eat, eat!!!!! Don't know exactly where that came from, I haven't felt that way in a long time. I did eat waaaayyyy more than normal, but since I don't have any sugary or high fat snacks in the house, I was stuck eating air popped popcorn, frozen grapes and skinny cows (3). SO, all in all, I guess it coulda been much worse. It was definitely binge thinking, though. I could tell I was eating out of boredom, but I couldn't get excited about doing anything.

Then today, I'm totally motivated to do all the stuff like hanging pictures on the walls, changing out the summer curtains, vacuuming under the beds, cleaning the kids' rooms. WHAT THE F*#&@ IS UP WITH THAT????? Very very strange days.

So, like 1 point for water on Sat. and Today I'll get 2 for water and exercise, but we have to go out to eat tonight at a fast food joint before fighter practice, so I'll likely go over. THough maybe not, last time we went to McD's I just had a side salad. The smell of the grease turned my stomach.

Well, gotta go.......hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend

Got my gorcery shopping done, all good stuff, low carb. Tonight its grilled pork chops and asparagus for me and wild rice for Billy---he doesn't do green! (yet)
I actually got all 4 points today!! Yea. This is fun.
For our poll, I watched "The Thomas Crown Affair" this afternoon so I would definately be hanging out with Pierce Brosnan---boy I wish I looked like Rene Russo-WOW.

Heading off to the airport in just a few, taking my sister, she is flying to Louisville Ky, for a week, and you know what that means, yep I get to drive her car!!! It really spoiled me those 5 weeks she was gone before. :lol: :lol: I have mine fixed now, but driving a new one is better:D

I need prayer everyone. Jack had a heart attack this morning at about 2:30 am. He is doing ok, they put in 2 shunts and did angioplasty, but I am a mess. Kelly thinks I am ok, but I only break down when no one is around. I need you guys so much and I am so scared! He is my everything.

Faye... I will keep you and Jack in my prayers... U know we are here for u... and will do whatever we can or u need us to do. I am sending hugs your way as well... wish u could feel them. Maybe u should let kelly see just how this has affected u... or at least share with her just how scared u are... it may bring u closer. But u know whats best for u... just a thought hon. I love you and u will stay in my heart and prayers...

Oh Faye, my love................I'm soooo sorry to hear about Jack. My heartfelt prayers for him and you went up as soon as I read your post. :grouphug: :grouphug:

Please remember to take care of YOU while you're taking care of him. Be gentle with yourself! Take comfort in what love others can give you, don't "save" your grief and fear for when you are alone.

If you want, I will be happy to take over the "points" business again so you can concentrate on Jack.

Remember we love you and are here for you! Be strong and I'm sure you'll both pull through this just fine.

Wow, so many heartattacks lately.......makes me wish I had gotten serious about eating healthy and exercising so long ago!

I love you guys so much! Thank you for everything. Julie, I would really appreciate it for a few days until things settle down if you would take over the points.

I got good news and bad news at the hospital. Good news is Jack is doing well with the 2 shunts and the angioplasty. He is resting comfortably and has a nice pink skin again. Bad news is this afternoon we talked to his cardiologist and we thought it was a minor thing but turns out is was a major heart attack with the front artery 100% blocked and enlarged to 3 times its size. Dr Anderson said if I had not called the paramedics when I did he would have died. He did have permanent heart damage but we don't know right now how serious it is. I thank Jesus for protecting him. He is everything to me. He cried this afternoon and told me, "You know I was really really scared and I said, "I know." and he said, "I wasn't scared about dying you know I know what will happen when I die, but I was scared I would be separated from you!" Ok, that did it. I had been holding it all in and the dam burst with that. Kelly has been an angel and taken such good care of me. When the chips are down, she has really come through.

I love you all and will keep you posted!
