Thanks everyone for the thoughts and well wishes. It turns out he had a large kidney stone that had to be removed. I am just totally exhausted from the weekend and yesterday. Its hard with little ones and a sick hubby trying to handle everything and on top of that I think I am getting a head cold or something.

Good morning everyone, it's a beautiful day whether we have sun, rain or even snow because we have each other to lean on. *ahhhh, I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy can you tell?* Had a good OP day yesterday and even got in my 3.5 miles with the threat of rain. There were some ugly looking black clouds over my head but there was a rainbow sticking out of each end. That's life, eh?

Angie sorry to hear your weatherman was right about the powder . Girl, you're doing everything you can, don't let the scale get you down. Drink, drink, drink your water. I can't tell you how important that is. It helps flush the fat and toxins out of your system. I don't know what else to tell you except you're still my hero. I weigh almost what I weighed a year ago (when I met you guys)--but YOU have come far. Be proud!

Julie, I'm so relieved for you that your DH got taken care of. Kidney stones . It's a good thing he didn't have to "pass" that one, huh? Sorry, I don't mean to be mean, I'm just trying to inject some humor into this situation . You take care of yourself, you hear? Take two of these and call me in the morning.

Cherie, can you cut me a check too? I'm a little short on cash today . Have fun visiting with your friend tomorrow and don't work too hard today.

Kempy, sorry to hear you're feeing under the weather again too. I can imagine you, Echo and Rhea all snuggled up in bed together. I hate that balloon-head feeling. Hope you feel better soon. I vote for Cherie to be your live-in drill sergeant--I would choose Dips but she's out enjoying her newfound civilian freedom. Cherie could keep you on a tight schedule . Rest up.

Jacks, how are things in downtown Honolulu? What's for lunch today? I don't know where you are, but when I used to go downtown, I used to like the Alakea Delicatessen . I just love that Okazuya type food. Haven't had any "real" kind for a while.

Kempy, I hope you feel better soon. I told ya I would love to come live with ya. I am sure I would be bad for you though. haha How is the puppy settling in? Did I ever tell you abou the Pomeranian Jay brought home a few months ago? He was running in the middle of the street so Jay found the owners who said he has done that before. Well guess what? He is missing again!!! We are going to go try to find him ourselves to try to make sure he is ok. Poor little guy.

Julie, I am glad to hear hubbys surgery went well. Tell him I hope he feels better soon.

Noelle, You are in high spirits today. You wouldnt be if you were here. YUCK! I hate snow so bad. It feels like I should be looking at a Christmas tree or something and you know me at Christmas time. PIG PIG PIG. All I want to do is bake goodies to eat. I guess it is just one of those days for me.

Another day, another day, another day...I'm felt really empowered yesturday and got most of my "to do" folder done...felt good to leave the office having accomplished some things, even though it was like 7:00 when I left. I was too pooped to go to the gym so I did some yoga this morning. I hope to make up gym trip today, IF I CAN LEAVE!!!

Noelle - gosh...I would love to walk down to Alakea deli and get something to eat. I want to leave the office to take a walk, but it's also so hard to try and avoid all the temptations. I have to wait until the lunch hour is over so it doesn't smell as good outside. I wish they had more okazuya places here. Hilo had plenty. I craving hawaiian plate right about now. Urggghhh!!!

Julie - Glad your husband's surgery went well. Take some time to rest and take care of yourself too okay?

Ditto for you to Kempy....all this focus on day to day stresses and stress of losing weight, need to make sure our health is in check. Rest up!

Angie - Keep your head up girl. I'm too scared to even go on the scale...I really need to get over that. Like Noelle said, its probaly just water...what's up with women and retaining water so much???

Hey Ladies! :-) I just finished my workout for the night and I'm sitting here winding down. Work was so HECTIC today. I am glad it's over. Tomorrow morning will be really hectic too, but by the afternoon, things will have quieted down.. just in time for my friend to fly in from CA!!!! Woo Hoo!!! :-) I haven't seen him in 7 weeks, and I was 21 pounds heavier then.. so hopefully he will NOTICE!! I am now working on my Thanksgiving goal of being at 128.00.. so that is 9 more pounds!

Jacks If I could write you a check I would... heck, I would have already written me one. It's bad when you see these bonuses some of these people get. Sometimes it's just amazing!

Angie.. we just need to focus together and make a pact that we will not gain weight during the holiday season! If we stick together, I know we can all succeed in that!

Noelle... wtg on walking!!! Great job! I bet that was beautiful.. the storm clouds and the rainbows.. I LOVE STORMS!!!! weird, I know!

Woo Hoo!! I am very excited about seeing Alan! :-) Hopefully I can get out of this agitated/pissy mood I am in. I am ready to give my two girls away! We had such a bad morning today.... and I am trying to get past it. I am so tired of telling them 10 times to do someting, especially in the mornings, when we are all rushing around. Anyway.... the kicker this morning was when after having tell my almost 4 year old to get up and go to the bathroom, ( I JUST NOW have her potty trained, since she moved back in with me in September) well... as we are rushing to get out the door.. she stands in my living room and PEES all over herself and my carpet... needless to say, I was NOT happy, and was VERY FRUSTRATED. Get to work, and I already have a call from one client and trying to get their payroll straightened out... and in about 30 minutes, I have a year end call with my other client, and my tax person isn't here yet.

So... I am just a little stressed this morning.... trying to calm down. It's going to be a great day.. RIGHT????

Ok.. back to work... I did do my pilates this morning.. so I started out my day good!

Tomorrow my oldest(Brittany) turns 12!!! Oh my god I feel so old right now!! Her first dance is on Halloween and she keeps getting emails from her ex boyfriend(I think he still likes her) She is definately growing up fast.

Last night I had a little binge fest. 3 slices of lowfat cake and some lowfat onion dip with wow chips!! I am trying so hard to control myself today. I have no idea what is going on in my head right now. It is cold and all I want to do is stay inside and snuggle and munch. WINTER SUCKS!!!! I did get right up and do 3 miles this morning though and it felt good. I really need to move somewhere where I can walk all the time because my exercise equipment is looking pretty evil to me right now

Angie I saw on the weather that you guys are going to be in the 40's. We are in the high 80's. Maybe that is why I am sick. The weather is getting to me.

Here's a hug for everyone feeling sick, tired and just plain stressed out. It's hump day gang, let's make the most of it.

Kempy take care of yourself, like Julie, I'm gonna recommend taking two of these , and call me in the morning. Let's see, we currently have 78 degrees w/74% humidity. It's supposed to get up to around 86 today. The weather man keeps predicting rain but I've yet to see it fall . I just looked at the long-term weather report and we're supposed to get 'scattered thunderstorms' on Halloween . That would suck big time.

Angie, at least it was lowfat right? I'm finding it harder to wake up in the morning now that the temps are getting cooler. It just feels nice to snuggle into the blankets (or into your significant other ) when it's cold out. Hang in there. Good job on damage control with your walk. You can do this!!!!

Cherie, chin up! Alan is here and he'd be a blind man not to notice the difference in you. Kids are soooo precious. You can't kill 'em so you gotta love 'em . It's Murphy's law that whenever you are in a big rush, your kids will move slower than molasses. Have a good visit and a great day.

Jacks, were you living in Hilo too? The Big Island is my least favorite island to visit because when I was little we took a weekend trip there and I hated riding in the car SOOOOO far (from Hilo to Kona), and then the keys got locked in the car and for some reason I got blamed....(hey, I was 9 years old, how did I get to be responsible for the keys???) then I fell down and skinned my knees and elbows at the City of Refuge ...I could go on and on, but I won't . I was probably bawling like Corey, right Angie?

I am doing better now, I think I had some allergies that were getting to me. My husband is home now from the hospital and resting comfortable with his pain medication. As for my eating I have been staying pretty good being OP. I have been still staying low carb and so far have lost 2-4 pounds depending if I weigh myself with my clothes on. Does everyone here weigh with clothes on or off?

Noelle thanks sweetie for the cookies!!!! I think they helped.
God girl you are so lucky with the weather you have. It is 46 degrees here. I am just freezing. Prayers for you that it does not rain on your Halloween!

Kempy big hug to you, hope you feel better soon. If I lived closer I would deliver some chicken soup! Gosh I will be making alot of that with my hubby not feeling well.

I got to see him a total of one freakin hour. And did he say anything, even close to " hey you look nice" or anything.. **** no. There is more to the story.. but right now.. I just don't feel like whining about it.... needless to say... I feel like I could just cry... and I probably will, once the girls go to bed. No.. I'm not gonna binge... and I am going to workout tonight after the girls go to bed.. so my day isn't going to be a loss totally...

Me and Jay went for a walk in the snow this afternoon. I got in 4.5 miles. I wished I could say the eating was good but it wasnt.

I baked some banana bread tonight. It smells so good, so far I am able to resist, but watching everyone eat it is so hard! My roast and gravy and potatoes turned out great though! I did not have any potatoes though, to many carbs. I am really craving a bowl of cereal in the mornings, kind of getting sick of eggs! Well hopefully my supper will hold me over until tomorrow. Hey Julie, we were posting at the same time. Glad you're feeling better and Woo on the 4 lb loss! I weigh myself with my nightshirt or pj's on (my scale is in the downstairs kitchen which isn't really used as a kitchen) so it might be frightening for others if I weighed myself in the nude .

My mom was baking banana bread too, when I went home for lunch. I left before the baking aroma started. I don't need this temptation, I really don't. The good thing is there are always nieces or nephews coming and going so it shouldn't last too long at our house. Mmm, your roast w/potatoes sounds yummy. You can cook us all some comfort foods.
