I'm having trouble keeping up with everyone here. this place is hopping. I can't seem to get on as much as I would like to.

I'm still doing well with my exercise and am getting things under control eating wise too. I tried on a dress on Sunday that I hadn't worn since August and it was looser. Even DH noticed. What a great feeling!! Hopefully I'll have some lost poundage to report when I weigh in next.

Gary: I'm glad you enjoyed the soup. It's one of our favourites. An interesting variation is to eliminate the spices and add taco seasoning, a can of pork and beans and corn. Then you can call it Taco soup!

Sami: Are you feeling better? I hate being sick. Hope things are better in your world.

SunnyD: My blinds turned out much better than I thought. They actually look quite elegant. I am a home decorating show addict. I love getting ideas and would love to have more time and money to impliment them. I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying Curves so much. I still am too.

~Sunny D ~ Sorry you hurt yourself at curves. Take some time to heal. When you get back to curves don't use the platforms between machines, work out on the floor instead. Are you using the platform as a step? our instructor won't let us use it that way. We are not aloud to go off and on the platform. We have to exercise in place. I will pray for your quick recovery.

~Wilma~ Congradulations on your weight loss.:cp: :cp: It feels so good to fit into cloths that at one time were to small. We are so proud of you. Keep up the good work.


~Gary~ Looking forward to seeing Angie's roses. My neighbors down the street have their whole front yard filled with roses. Evidently, She got rose bushes every year they were married. They are retired now. You should see the two of them in the garden together caring for their roses. Its so romantic to see this elderly couple showing their love for each other that way. They are a great christan couple. She loves to spoil my son with food.

Good Morning MICHELLE ~ I am taking it easy today for sure - mu hubby took the day off to be with me today. Thank - You are right, I must care for myself as I care for others... gonna give it a go. You are sweet!

GARY & ANGIE (Hi!!! :wave: ) ~ As far as your pictures go... All I know is that when I take them off of my camera & put it on the cp it is not in j-peg format. I have a USB port to go into and my pics go from the camera to a file. Once loaded what I do is choose the pic I want; double click on it and then I have choices at the bottom of the picture to do as I need. Then I go to my ArcSoft program and change the size to 320width x 240height in pixels; then go to save in the j-peg format. Once it's done I just go to Post a REPLY and where you write your post - just below the window you'll see ATTACH FILE. Go to browse and look for the file your pic or pics are at. Then once you have picked it out just double click and it should be attached... I hope it works. But each cp is a bit different. I had the photo program included in my Home-XP, so if there's another way I will try to help you figure it out. LUCK!!!! Cannot wait to see picks you you two! Sorry I wasn't available last night to lend a hand... was in bed at 8:30! (pathetic!)

The pic below is 480 x 360 pixels in size and it worked.

HI GALS-

:cp: YEA! Angie was finally able to send a picture-- thank-you Sunny for your help. The picture is of a rose out of her rose garden, a couple of others turned out but she didn't want to send them, she thought that would be too much with all the failure posts she did. She is off to the dr. now for some kind of check-up then she will head straight up to her mom's ( a couple of hours away) and then to her sister's hair shop to get her hair done. She is taking a personal day from school-- wish I could get a "paid" personal day:lol:
I am going to do the grocery shopping today BY MYSELF!! because the checkers may go on strike here this week-end. Want to go to Costco too--- without Angie with me I am out of control-- you'd be surprised of all the things I think we need;)

Angie says she will take more pictures of US and get them to you gals soon-- as soon as she gets a good one of me-- this could be a very long wait girls so don't hold your breath! the last good picture of me was my yearbook graduation one-- 31 years ago!!! Boy could that shop touch-up!!

SUE- about your car-- I though that it was "if it's not one thing it's your MOTHER!" :lol: We could use help with our church bulletin too-- there is so much to do- I am really thankful for the ladies that put it all together. If the car doesn't get fixed- run it out here, my ex-wife's shop fixes mine- could get you a deal!

JUDY Angie does the roses--I do the grass. She usually does her rose maintanence after her run/walk on Saturday mornings. She gets up usually at 6 then goes 3.5 to 5 miles, when she gets home she just goes to the shed, gets out her stuff and goes to town on the roses. I water them once a week for her.

SUNNYD Glad to hear you are better. I really like the furniture too! Not as cute as your goddaughter but nice just the same! Sat through the first confirmation class with my nephew last night-- he is in 8th, usually they go 5-7th grades at our church to be confirmed-- he will have to do all 3 years in one year- not a problem-- we just want to make sure the kids understand what christianity is. He fits right in and is looking forward to it. Our Pastor says he really enjoys him because he is really interested in what he is learning.

Well gotta get to the bank, shopping etc or Angie will bust my chops when she gets home tonight:lol: I better have her tea ready when she gets home from the stress of being with her mother;) At least she isn't mad at me for taking a "personal day" from work:) of course mine is W/O pay!!

Hello I have to make this quick I am in need of prayers for my DD and her husband. Last night they were awaken by people outside thier door several guys were standing outside thier bedroom window next to thier cars the police came and my dd and her husband went out to see what was going on and The police said someone discribed my SIL as someone peeking in thier window! My poor SIL was shocked he had been in bed since 8pm (he goes in to work at 4am) he had to show ID and was scared they were going to take him to jail! Thank the Lord because my DD was with him the whole night nothing happen to him but the police told my DD that she was in the worse sections of this apt and that they have had rapes and kidnaping and all kinds of bad stuff! So now I am worried about thier safty staying there. I will post more when I know more.
