I've done Noom and it just wasn't for me. I don't think there's anything wrong with, it's just a matter of personal preference. I think it all depends on what kind of methods are most effective for you. For one thing, you have to weigh yourself every day which I have a problem with. In my own personal experience, I become too fixated on the numbers on the scale and discouraged if I don't see the results I want. I don't like to weigh myself any more than once a week, tops. I will say that's very simple to use and you can pretty much eat whatever you want as long as you stay within the amounts suggested for each "color group". For me personally, I need a rigid and structured program. If I feel like I have too much leeway I will cheat. Though, I do have a very unhealthy relationship with food and eat emotionally. For me to be successful I've found I need accountability. There's quite a bit of reading involved, about 6 to 10 short articles a day, which I didn't find especially helpful and I work quite long hours so it felt like a chore.
I do think Noom is good if you're looking for something with some flexibility and that is easy to use and follow. It's also probably going to take you a little longer to lose weight on unless you really cut out the sugars and carbs. If you're looking for slow and steady it's probably a good program for you.
