  1. Eat less carbs and more lean proteins
  2. Eat whole foods and avoid processed junk foods
  3. Reduce your calorie intake with these steps:

In addition to the 3-step plan I would suggest avoiding sugary drinks and fruit juice - these are among the fattening things you can put into your body. Plus eating soluble fiber. Studies show soluble fibers promotes weight loss.
