Sunny~ I can't see the pic at work, something weird on my computer, but wanted to tell you that you can do a search on ebay also and maybe find out the time period. I too collect "Hall" restaurant ware! I like the green and pink or rose restaurant ware. I have a lot of the green. I can't wait to see your dish.

MICHELE ~ that is so cool that you collect restaurant dishes. I sure would love to see your collection. I just love kitchen collections & really like Hall. Next to the yellow I love the greens too!!! I hope to one day have a late 1940's to mid 1950's kitchen. So cool! Thanks for the info!

Just a quick note before I begin my housework...

I went to my first appointment this morning at 'Curves' and already love the place! Great music & great people... Did you know that Curves is a Christian based company?! Cool Beans! I begin my workouts tomorrow morning!! I feel like a child... so excited about life. It has been so long since I have felt like this - what a wonderful feeling! I need this before we head into our winter months when we have very little sunshine and way too much snow!

I will catch up with you all later.

Hi Sprout... not a silly question at all.

Scroll to the bottom of this page and you will see Subscribe to this thread - click on that & after it states you have done it -go all the way up to the top of the page where it says user cp click on it. It will take you to where you have all your Personal messages and your Subcribed Threads. Do that for "each Thread" you want to go back to again. Okay.

Give it a try and let me know how you do.

Sunny~What a beautiful butter dish! I want one in green or pink! That is really awesome that you found that. Yes, I collect Hall and red transfer ware, 50's pyrex, pink depression glass and salt cellars! I also look for unusual tea platters and plates. Someday I'd like to have a tea cottage, like the one you had a picture of. Wouldn't that be fun! I'd like to have mix and match tea cups and saucers, plates and teapots. Oh, i have so many ideas, someday i'm gonna get the courage to figure out how to make it more than a dream!

Bought Dr.Phil's book, have to go to read the introduction and Chapter 1! :dance:

Just kidding Michele and Sunny-- good to see you gals adding a little class to the site. I went to a wedding tea party once-- with finger sandwiches and everything-- it was so cool---NOT! for me anyway-- I had a great time though-- my wife's cousin was having trouble getting her newborn to quit crying-- Angie told her to give her to me, there isn't a baby around that I can't get to stop crying (sometimes it's a little tougher than others). She had been trying for hours- within 5 minutes I had her put to sleep:) It is easy if you know how to rub their backs. When ever we go to parties where kids are invited they usually all end up with me-- the joke is: Hey Angie "blank" teacher is having a party and kids are invited, can you bring Gary to babysit?-- To be honest I like kids better than most adults!!;)

Angie is at her open house for school-- I made a real healthy dish:nono: for my son, nephew and myself-- chili and pigs in a blanket hot dogs wrapped in tortillas with cheese and onion- baked. I can only get away with this when she isn't eating here!

Oh way to go Gary-- such encouragement and advice just when all the gals are re-grouping and kicking butt on their diets!! Sorry:ziplip:

I have a bunch of paper work tonight-- still trying to catch up with you gals.

Angie is almost done with her journal-- she is getting ready to make a few copies-- she wants to send one to all of you when she is finished- I will let you know-- they are pretty cool-- have spaces for exercise, food, etc. If you want one just let me know okie-dokie-- she isn't charging for them for my friends!!

By the way about collecting things -- I collect 'pigs' -- that is one of the reasons I chose the avatar that I have. Most of my friends always bring me pigs when they travel. Have quite a collection.

Watched Dr. Phil -- today -- and am proceeding with the good. Have reread Chapter 1 a few times and am starting to work on Key #1
