HEY YALL! :) Gosh, I have a lot of catching up to do.

I had a great time on my little mini vacation but I totally went off of my diet and I haven't worked out since last Friday. I did step on the scales this morning and I'm only up 2 pounds.. Which is suprising considering how much I ate!! lol But I'm getting back on track this week and I'm planning on working out every day this week and eating right.

Michele.. glad to hear our well wishes are making you feel better :D How are you doing today?

Tulip.. Happy Birthday hun!! Hope you have/had a good one! and congrats on the loss!! You loser! :D

Chikita.. AWESOME! Good for you! You are almost at your goal!! That rocks!!

okay gals.. I'll be in and out all day.. so I'll check back when I can.

CIAO!

Shelley0574 09-15-2003 10:46 AM

Oh meant to say congrats to you too, Ceara!!!! :) Gosh, all these losers around here.. what am I going to do with you? ;)

Idealperson 09-15-2003 12:46 PM

Happy Monday!!! I weighed 143# today, I weigh in at Weight Watchers tonight and I'm going to Curves this afternoon and will weigh in there too! No addiction problems here...right???

I'm having a check in with my boss today about the stress level of my job, I'm on my sixth cup of coffee :yikes: I'm about to jump out of my skin or bite some one's head off! Do any of you have stressful jobs...I started this new position in July and keep hoping it will become easier (I am the only female supervisor in the Probation, Parole and Pardon dept.) we deal with alot of serious crimes, grieving families, and disgruntled victims. Help!!!:^:

Topaz 09-15-2003 02:35 PM

I finally lost ONE pound, after not losing any last week, pout pout. I only weighed myself about four or five times between now and then, lol. I have not really been working as hard as I could as far as my exercise and eating. Yesterday I was super-lazy all day and then had pizza and a brownie at dinnertime.:nono:

Idealperson, that sounds stressful all right! I'm lucky that my job (boring office work) isn't usually too bad in the stress department, but this morning I had to meet with the accountant, which stressed me out just worrying about it as he usually only meets with me to point out my mistakes! It went OK though, and most of the mistakes were his fault. But then I was 2 hours late doing all the rest of my work because of that. :headache:

Hotsplashes 09-15-2003 03:44 PM

What a bunch of wonderful losers we have here at SAA!!! I am soooo proud of ALL of you!! Including you, Shelley. You deserved a break. Happy Birthday Tulip! Ceara, what kind of dogs do you show? I breed and show JRTs. Love my doggies I do...and my kittie and my own horsie who is nice and never hurts me!lol...

I got on the scale today, down from my scary up. still not back to normal tho...but as I said...TOM is visiting so I count any gain as water weight right now. Plus I think I've probably gained some muscle weight. SO I have to look at the bright side...

Muscle weighs more than fat....Muscle burns more calories than fat....MY JEANS are Much looser!

Once my head and shoulders and hip don't hurt so much....I'll post better posties for you guys!

Take car folks!!

ceara 09-15-2003 05:43 PM

A-c-c-k!

What a Monday!

The computers at work average an up time of 20 secs to 2 minutes...we are an online thing...and the telephone lines are full of garbage(according to the DSL guy) and of course Bell hasn't shown up yet...since Saturday!!!!!!!!

I'm a little frustrated...I think I will hop on and off the scale for a while after work  ...because what I really want is an alcoholic drink...and I 've been clean since the last Monday in August, whatever date that was!

Splashes...I occasionally breed and generally show Bouviers. Big dogs who can do their best to trip you up...they think they are herding you but........

Back to work...back to the exercises in frustration!!!!!!!

Ceara

Shelley0574 09-16-2003 09:39 AM

Oh girl.. We have been having nothing but trouble with our dsl/phone lines... at home that is.. so I know your frustration!

Well... I think I know why the scale was up.. TOM just left yesterday.. and I had completely forgotten (in all the rucus around here) about that.. and that you gain water weight. LOL So.. I get on the scale and what does it say??

144!!!!! :cb: :cb:

I was 148 when I first came home from my trip on Friday....147 on yesterday... now 144.. :)

14 more pounds to go!!

okay.. I have some errands to run probably all day.. I'll catch yall later!

Tulip-Fairy 09-16-2003 02:59 PM

I am now still on target to reach my goal weight in 4 weeks time if i keep off the booze that is!!!:^: :^: :^:

Shelley0574 09-16-2003 08:50 PM

Thank you Tulip, for the kudos! :)

Hopefully I can keep on track this week. I'm sure I can though.
It's pretty hard to believe that I've lost this much weight and wearing a size 9/10 now. Wow... boggles my mind.. lol.

Glad to hear you had a good birthday, Tulip!! Hey, I drink alllllll the time and I still manage to loose the weight.. LOL but I mostly drink diet coke and rum..

Congrats on your 2lb loss.. That's totally awesome! You will reach your goal by then, I'm sure of it!! Keep up the GREAT work!

kathleneb 09-17-2003 12:50 AM

Wednesday!

Mornin' all...welcome to Kathleneb....don't let those numbers discourage you....10 lbs is a wonderful start, and you are on your way...the scale is a tool, and we sometimes consider it a  but it is only one thing....I place more emphasis on how my underdrawers feel than what it sez....however, it is confirming when it goes down...and it will!!! It already went down 10 for you!!!!! :cp:

I fed my addiction both, actually all three days this week and chased the old  around the bathroom...it is behaving itself :s:

Jeepers Shelley, you are gettin' close to your goal....way to go....what is your planned arrival date?
And 9/10/

I used to be a 9/10 :rolleyes::shrug: and I will again!!!!

Glad you are recovering Splashes....I gotta roll myself along

:blah:

 to All!

Ceara

Shelley0574 09-17-2003 12:59 PM

Hi Kathlene! Welcome! :) Have you tried putting the scale away in a not so easy place to get too and dedicate one day out of the week to weigh yourself? It's easier said than done, I know.. but it does help.

Ceara-- Well, I had planned for Halloween or close too.. but I don't think I can loose 14 pounds by then. So I'm gonna say Thanksgiving. :) Gawd, the day we eat tons of food too.. LOL

and yes you WILL be a 9/10 again. I never thought I'd be saying that I was that size.. but I am! Now if I can just say I'm a size 6!! LOL

Michele-- Darn that TOM! They should put warning labels on scales that says "Warning! Do not use during TOM" he he
but congrats on your loss!! Yipee!!! :cb:

Hotsplashes 09-17-2003 09:55 PM

Howdie Ceara! Glad to see you fed that addiction..sometimes we just HAVE to...!lolol You WILL be a 9/10 again! I have faith in you!

Shelley, good thing your Turkey Day is further off...if you canadian you'd only have about 3 weeks to lose those last few lbs!lol I believe you WILL do it! Just up the exercise, down the bad foods...and chase the demon scale around the house until it gives you the reading you want!lol

I'm going to start the new Thread right after this...so I hope to see you ladies on it tomorrow!

PS...I bought a new pair of jeans tonite....I'm down a size!

Welcome Kathleneb!!
This made me really laugh!!! What a great idea, whatever works for you!

At the moment i like chasing my scales around the bathroom on a daily basis, had a bit of a scare this morning tho.... :yikes: :yikes: :yikes:

I was at the point where i was lowering myself on to scales and watching the digital read out go up when it carried on going up by over 2 stone!!!!!    I jumped off them as if my bum was on fire!!!
Hubby had crept in to the bathroom and put his foot on the scales without me knowing, he thought it was the funniest thing hes seen in years!! I didn't!!
I can see the funny side of it now but at the time i nearly killed him:rollpin: :rollpin: :rollpin:
