Fiber soaks up water, so just adding in a bunch of fiber (salad) could dehydrate you to some extent, though I wouldn't think it would be noticeable if you are drinking adequate amount of water (weight in pounds, divided in half, in ounces of water is a good generalization).

What steps did you take to fix your dehydration? Are you sure that is what the problem was?

Did you drink extra water? If thats all you ate you would need extra water.

I feel the lack of protein would of made you pretty grumpy, It is possible that your other meals made you dehydrated?

Bodies work in ridiculous ways, I cant eat soup two days in a row because of the sodium content and then I feel really dehydrated. I also Cant eat any pasta without gaining weight.

I don't understand what fried potato was doing in your salad bowl! At anytime you feel de-hydrated drink a lot of water, water is only going to help you in losing weight.
