Default Working while losing weight?

Hello,

Right now I'm not working, cause I'm making about $800/month from the work I did online as a passive income. I have an online business project which I want to do some day. It would take me about 6 month to finish the business and would make me hopefully financially become independent. I can't decide whether I should first focus on losing weight which would also take about 6 months, then I start my business, because my business needs alot of planning and brain power. I tried starting few days ago, I see myself rush home from the gym in excitement to work on my online business. I'm thinking, whether I should first lose weight, then once I reach my weight goal, then I should start my business. Currently I weight 100 kg, I want to be at 65 kg.

Please recommend if I should focus on 2 goals at the same time. I see others would work and lose weight at the same time, but this ain't normal work, it's work which needs alot of thinking and working hard to solve complex problems.

And if I only focus on weight loss, I don't know whether I would get bored of it.

Thanks

I personally think that, with enough determination, you can do both! Working for too long usually means you're not doing effective work, and you can't really get your brain to focus on your business all day anyway. Plus, exercise helps your brain work better, and a small variation in tasks is going to enable you to be more effective, as well. On top of all that, you don't need crazy long gym sessions! Just 30 minutes a day is already going to help you start losing weight.
You should also consider that working on an online business is a very sedentary job. It's very easy to start feeling sluggish and tired and not be able to focus because you don't have healthy habits.
Creative work like this is the kind of work that most requires incubation - down time, breaks, variation in activities. You don't need to sacrifice your health for your work here - much on the contrary, they work hand in hand to help your brain!
Hope it helps c:

My boss owns multiple businesses that require daily hands-on attention. One of those just started a few months ago.

Her day starts at 4:30. She's at the gym by 5:00. She spends 30 min to an hour focusing on herself, gets the endorphin rush, and takes on the rest of her day. If she can juggle multiple successful businesses, hit the gym daily, and raise a family, you've got this covered.

You can do this.

I work a mentally exhausting job as well but I pushed for an earlier start time at work so I could be off early. I get off at 3pm and I always do a half hour work out after I get off work. After that I eat dinner and spend the rest of my night relaxing! It seems to be going well for me! What really helps is meal prepping! On my super busy days, I make sure I make my meals in advance so that I still maintain a healthy diet! If losing weight is something really really important to you, you will push through and do great!
