Never losing hope!
 
I'm back after a long adjournment but I think it's about time I started back to trying to lose some more weight. Problem is that I suffer from a very bad back and therefore take quite a few very strong meds in order to lessen the pain. More weight means worse back pain so I do hope I will be able to get things moving again.

Any support would be most gratefully appreciated.. :wave:

:welcome: back! I have been gone a while also.

Have you tried swimming for exercise? I find that I can do so much more of it without pain, and it can be a great workout. :swim:

That's a very good idea and I did used to but my pain has been so bad in this last year or so I can hardly walk. Sometimes I have to take morphine but I don't want to take that too often as it's very addictive. If I can get another stone (14lbs) off it will make all the difference and I will most probably be able to get back to having a swim.

You never should lose hope... Even though there are situations when it seems to me that I start losing some.. I try to never lose it. I am trying to lose weight for like 3 years now and so far... no success... but I am still hoping that one day I will

I am back after a long period and regain of most of the weight I originally lost. I too suffer from back problems which has gotten slightly better but I am so afraid to do much because I am afraid to re-injure it again. I need to start exercising again but it has to be walking, treadmill, light exercise.
I am on a strict diet and doing my best to stick to it until I can get this weight off.
We can do it together!!!

Very good that you're back to get into shape NeMom..SO annoying when that happens isn't it? When you have a back injury or weakness it's so very easy upset things and be in pain again.
Unfortunately at the moment I've lost my motivation .. every morning I start off with the greatest determination which gradually fades by the evening time and today has been the same especially as my aches and pains have been quite bad.
Tomorrow's another day and I will put my best foot forward and hope it will turn out much better.. :dust:
