Just dipped my toes into the 170s for the first time, 179.8! So close to no longer being obese and I have definitely never seen the 170s as an adult.

Weighed in this morning at 170.6! So close!

Last spring I got down to 166 and once summer rolled around I have just maintained a 5lb range between 167-172.

My biggest struggle is the weekend. I can easily maintain my weight because I stay on plan during the week and splurge on the weekends. However, my goal is NOT to maintain but to LOSE! My DH & I have a date night tonight and I've already pre-planned what I'm going to eat/drink so I stay within my goal or no more than 200 cals over. I don't have any other plans for the weekend that will make it difficult to stay on plan so I am really determined to make this weekend a success. I also will try to fit in light workouts on Sat & Sun.

I always seem to be more motivated to stick to my diet goals when I fit in my workouts.

:balloons: WAY TO GO, nonameslob!!! You've been looking forward to this for a long time and working so hard! That's amazing!!!

Toodles, I so know what you mean. I've been bouncing between 170 and 175 since HALLOWEEN. Ready to buckle down and finally get this weight off. Weekends are hard, but I usually let myself eat an extra 100 - 200 calories and it helps me from going overboard.

For me I have had a couple of weight gains and I just want to get back into the 170's before I make it out of them. I have been lurking in the 170's and 180's since the beginning of last year and now I want out and I want to finally make it into the normal weight range and get my BMI down.

Put on 5.5 pounds over christmas and have already lost 5 pounds of it so nearly back on track and only 1.5 pounds off being back in the 170's so wish me luck :)

I could have wrote this!! Except I got all the way up to 180 this time, so disappointed in myself but it's slowly going down!! You must be feeling skimny at 170.6!! wTG!!

Weighed in at 177 today!

sammymilner 01-16-2015 07:27 AM

So after detoxing my Christmas naughties - I can officially say I am back in the 170's at 176.5 and can't wait to leave you all :)

The sooner I am in the 160's the happier I will be with my weight loss and 7 pounds really doesn't feel that bad to get there. So hopefully we will all be in the 160's together sooner rather than later!!!!

I am barely in 170s, 179.9

CanoeGirl 01-16-2015 07:50 PM

I am in the middle of the 170s - weigh in tomorrow - hope to keep going down :)

hhm6 01-18-2015 09:56 PM

Down to 176. 4 today! 3.8 down from my last official weigh in. I can already feel how hard it is to start going down again. This is when I'm kicking myself for going off track =(

Are you guys calorie counting? what number are you sticking around? I try to keeo around 1500 does that sound too high? It's my comfort spot where I do feel hungry or feel the need to binge.

Frances123 01-19-2015 02:03 PM

hhm, I'm a calorie counter. I stay between 1450 and 1500 calories per day, and that's with an hour of pretty vigorous exercise. Everybody has to find their "sweet spot", though - depends on how tall you are, how active, etc. You can google "how many calories should I eat to lose weight" and find some good calculators!

Well, I'm doing a 28-day reset! I've been bouncing between 170 - 174 since HALLOWEEN. I wanted to stay in maintenance mode during Thanksgiving/Christmas, so I'm happy about that, but I'm officially sick of the 170s! So for 28 days, I'm:

- not weighing
- eating my fruits and vegetables EVERY SINGLE DAY for lunch (not supper, when sometimes I lose my strength of will and eat tacos instead)
- not indulging in treats
- not baking
- keeping my carbs, for the most part, pretty low
- tons of exercise

Normally I believe in moderation, not deprivation, but this is only for 28 days. I hope to step on the scale at the end of the 28 days and see that I'm firmly in the 160s! Fingers crossed!

Frances- wow you are doing amazing! and I like your 28 day plan!! Carbs are the hardest for me to stay away from especially in school, I feel like I always feel like munching on things that are high in carbs. I think 1500 is my sweet spot too, I'm very comfortable here, so I might stay here especially since I'm losing so far.

Today I weighed 175.6! I usually don't change my ticker unless I've seen the number consistently for a couple of days. but yay!

sammymilner 01-23-2015 10:59 AM

Now at 177 and hope to be out of the 170's in time for march :) hopefully i can do it on time!

CanoeGirl 01-25-2015 10:05 AM

I am down to 171. Hope to hit the 160s within the next 2 weeks.

As for the sweet spot, I think it is really personal. I am on WW and have 27 points per day. I have been eating my points, all my weekly points and all my exercise points plus going over and still losing so I think it depends on your body. I have only done WW once before, been active most of my life so I seem to be a slow to gain person who can lose the first 10 pretty quickly when I get back to healthy habita.

hhm6 01-25-2015 06:34 PM

MY TOM started and I'm 178 =( I know I'm supposed to expect fluctuations but I've also been eating more so I feel like this weight might even stay. Sad =( Hopefully it goes away.

hhm6 01-26-2015 08:53 PM

177.2....ugh i i hate TOM and water retention (which is what i hope this gain is and not actual lbs I've put on!!)
