Muguet I was looking at my monthly weigh ins, I did make it to 160.6 one day this month, so close!!

164.4 today, getting closer...

163 today. I saw 161 for one weigh-in this month and then it was scared away somehow. Come back!

162.1 today! I met this weeks goal and next weeks goal. I'm glad too. I just got back from nine months in Europe and my family is throwing me a going away dinner tonight because they live in East Coast Canada where I live in West Coast US and I'm driving home tomorrow. My grandma will be stuffing mac and cheese down my throat tonight and offended if I don't take part.

Not looking forward to all of the fast food on my five day drive home either. :( Luckily I'm vegetarian so my options are really limited at fast food, but mostly that leaves gas stations which is almost worst. I'm going to go to the store today and hopefully find some packable options. Coffee calories are going to be the hardest. When I drive for sixteen hours a day I feel like I deserve huge cups of flavored coffee and frappucinos.

Mondays are my official weigh in day. If I can make it through the road trip without messing up I should hit 159.9 or better by next monday!

I hit 161.2 again today after floating back up last week. Will I see a new new low tomorrow? I hope!

CoolMom, I hope you see a new low tomorrow. Today, was a new low for me at 163.8. My next mini-goal is 155. This is 'when i met my hubby' weight in 1999. Can't wait to see the 50's!

Olly, best wishes on your road trip. Hopefully I won't be too far behind you and CoolMom going int the next thread.

Oh yeah!!!! 160.4 today. I can't believe I'm only 10 pounds away from my first major goal. I started over two years ago and it has taken me this long. That 150 seemed so far away.

Congratulations CoolMom! I've gone back up to 164 and have to revisit MFP to see what I may have to readjust in my diet.

Can I vent? What is it about the 160s that my body loooooves so much?

So I've been hovering at 163 for months. Tomorrow I have to meet up with my old college roommate, who, unlike me, stayed thin as a pin.

Almost two weeks ago I decided in earnest that for this meeting, I would like to be at a solid 158. Just psychologically, out of the 160s. I felt this was doable, via water weight if nothing else.

So I've been at my BEST. Small, healthy meals, water. No booze. Hard Zumba workouts every day/other day. Dog walks twice daily. All the things I should be doing, done perfectly, motivated by this modest goal. I didn't even gorge on Halloween candy!

So you think the scale will give it to me? NO!!! Every damn day, it hovers at 161. Occasionally it'll give me a glimpse of 159.5. If I eat an extra bite, it zooms up to 164. It's so strange, the number does not want to move and WILL. NOT. GIVE. IT. TO. ME.

Sorry, I'm so frustrated. The 160s STINK!

165.4 today. i've been in the 160's for 2 months now but i have lost 4 inches around my hips because of muscle gain. Hoping i can get out of them this month!! :D

The worst is when the scale goes "158….no, 160….no 159.5….no, 162. That's it, 162!"

Update on my effort to get below 160 by the time I have lunch with my thin old college roommate- today! I work up and the scale gave me a grudging 159.5 - thanks SO much! Then, one cup of coffee and BAM! Back up to 161.

Ain't fair. Anyway, I'll be putting on my armor of Spanx and sucking it in. Found out my friend's mother will be there to say hello, too. BAD news. The mom is a critical old yenta, always commenting on people's looks and weight. I'm sure I will come in for some slams.

Yes! Just the thread I need!
I've been struggling to lose weight for a while now. I got out of the 170s over the summer, continued trailing down, then fell of the wagon. I only gained a few pounds back, but now it's time to buckle down.

CW: 166
H: 5'8

I slept in until 9 today- it's so nice not having classes on friday :)
I had a persimmon, an apple, and some bread with hummus for breakfast (500).
I'm thinking of grabbing lunch on campus, so it will mostly be salad and whatever they're serving today.
