Way to go Cheesecake that is awesome.
Exercising like crazy and was really having a good eating week sticking to my calories and last night my friend brought ove this amazing rich peanutbutter dessert and I caved and ate 2 big pieces, ugh.

Got home a day early and weighed this morning. Drumroll please....

158.2!!!! I'm gonna hang out here until I see if there's any bounce but man am I psyched. The 150's are where weight loss is finally noticeable for me.

I think this is the first vacation where I actually lost weight. I followed the "amazing" rule. I didn't just stay strictly on plan, or go completely off plan. Instead I ate as much on plan as possible but if something looked really good I tried it. If it was amazing I ate it and enjoyed every minute of it. If it wasn't then I didn't eat it. And I wasted no time feeling guilty. If it was truly awesome I didn't mind at all the extra mile I ran to make up for it.

So merowi2 don't worry about the dessert- it obviously passes the amazing test!

Great job cheesecake! You are solidly in the 160s now!

Prairiequeen and retrorabbit welcome and congrats!

MauiKai - um congrats on your "pee fest"? Hahahaha. You're so close to goal you'll have to fight for every ounce but you've done fantastic so far. I know you'll get there.

Hi!
This is my first post here, but I'm not new to trying to lose weight. This time it will stick!! I like how these threads (170's, 160's, 150's...) are set up like they are mini-goals. :)
Mind if I join you?

merowi2 08-04-2015 10:12 PM

A weekend away with friends and lots of bread and peanut butter and whiskey, and I'm up at 168. I'll give it a few more days to go back down, though I'm sure I gained a little ( no where near a full pound though).
The water retention isn't as bad as I thought. I'm trying to drink lots of water, but I ate more than I would have liked to today. Tomorrow will hopefully be a jog day though, and I bought fruit today, so I will be snacking on that tomorrow

Welcome BostonRuby and hi to the club.

Tomorrow is my weigh in... hoping for good results this week, I should be okay because I haven't cheated at all and I've been walking my butt off. but you never know right? sometimes you think you are down and the stupid scale reads higher. ugh!

Keep up the good work, club... lets push through to the 150's thread.

PrairieQueen 08-05-2015 11:28 AM

Welcome BostonRuby!

169.8 lbs today. .... Up from 169.6..... But I blame it on the grilled wing sauce I had at the pub last night (and the pint of homemade dill spears I devoured yesterday). I was Puffy the magic Dragon at bedtime, so lots of water today. I was so hoping to get new work clothes before school starts in two weeks, but I haven't lost enough to justify. I'll just be "loose" for a month or two.

CheesecakeBrownie 08-05-2015 11:33 AM

lay off those salty pickles, PQ! drink a whole bunch of water today!

BostonRuby 08-05-2015 12:01 PM

Thanks for the welcome! :)
Today I weighed in at 166.6, which seems to be a favorite number on my scale and I'm trying not to read into it too much. I have plans with a new friend tonight at a local foodie haven and I'm planning on not ordering everything on the menu -- so it's already a win. We'll see how I fare out tomorrow. ;)

merowi2 08-06-2015 09:45 PM

167.2 today.
