Normally, I had one or two beers a week, but last semester I consistently had 4 more a week than that. So that was an extra 3200 calories a month, coupled with a decrease in my exercise. And I put on about a pound a month, as the math would say.
This is interesting because I drink the good stuff (300 calories a bottle) and can easily knock back 15-20 a week and yet it does not seem to affect my weightloss. And if you believe the science (I do not when it comes to alcohol calories) then that is at the very least 18,000 calories per month.Normally, I had one or two beers a week, but last semester I consistently had 4 more a week than that. My body just does not seem capable of converting calories from alcohol into fat.
