As of today (after a carb and sodium feast of 4 days;ugh) I have exactly 20 pounds to my 1st acceptable (high) goal; healthy BMI. I am super sensitive to carbs, and it is interesting to hear that many, many more women complain about the same problem. -- I just "gained" 3.4 pounds in 4 days eating maint level of calories but diet loaded with carbs and salt. It is going to take me 7-10 days to rid my body of this water. My goal is to get there by September 10th. Sucks to go another summer fat, but oh well; such is life. Happy to be here! I am not at that point but have been, I thought I would never lose that last 10 pounds and almost changed my goal weight but stubbornly persisted and was eventually successful.

Hey ladies! I'm at 144 today (yippee!) and I'm feeling good! My final goal weight is 120, so I'm just above 20lbs away, but I'm excited nonetheless! I'm about half-way through this thing!
sum: my boyfriend does NOT understand that I CANNOT eat carbs and salt like he does. He literally eats a whole box/bag of pasta in one sitting. And he's about 200lbs and 6'2"! In shape! *sigh* If I did that, ooooh lawdy.... But at least I've gotten him to start buying whole grain or veggie pasta, so I can have >a serving as PART of a meal SOMETIMES and not have any issues. Overall I feel less bloated and gross when I have a diet based on nutritional needs that's heavy in raw fruits and veggies :) |
I have 5lbs to my original goal, but the closer I get the more clear it becomes that isn't the point at which I want to start maintaining. I started NRLW so I'm thinking I might change my goal from a weight to BF%. I'm 26.2% BF right now, I have a goal of 22-23%.

I lost 1.6 pounds of my carb bloat, a few other days of clean eating and I should be back to 150's where I was at a week ago, before my rendezvous with carbs.

178.6 today, so 13.6 away from goal. I was returning a dress (too big!) in Bloomingdales and I walked by a mirror and thought to myself "holy crap- I look NORMAL!"

19 to go! I've been stalled here for a good 5-6 months too (well, stalled around 172-173).
169 is actually the lowest I've ever hit though and I'm pretty determined right now... I really want to get down to my lowest weight ever before (160) and then goal! (150) |

I am at this point and it's freaking driving me bat &$%%^ crazy. The body is holding on to weight now like there's no tomorrow. Sometimes I just feel like tossing it in and being done, but I'm not throwing in the towel yet. Maybe I will stop before 140, but I definitely want to hit 150 even if it takes another six months. |
I loss 2.6 this week. So now I only have 8.2lbs left.

Hey Vex! I don't think I had another name. I joined in Dec 2011, so maybe your remember me from then? The pic is from October 2011 so I'm not sure where else it would be. I also hang out on some other forums... I do a lot of scuba diving, so do you ever visit Scubaboard?

10-15 lbs to go!! Although I have stopped using my scale. After a few weeks of working out and changing up my eating habits, I felt GREAT...but the scale jumped up a few lbs! I think it was due to my getting back to strength training, so all the water retention and what not. So I'm avoiding the scale for now, but I still consider myself under 20 lbs from goal!!

Was not behaving really well last 2 days. Ate a whole chocolate chicken and ENJOYED every mouthful <3 My scales are down to 156 alright, BUT because i cheated and ate something i wasn't supposed to the last two days i will wait a couple of days more before i change the ticker. I have a feeling i will go back up to 158 soon enough. That chocolate heaven is going to catch up with me i know......!!!!! :D

Sunster2, thank you:D and that is correct!! I tried on some of my old clothes yesterday (from before I gained all my weight back) and most of them actually fit. I was in total disbelief but I have been working by butt off, literally, to get this weight back off of me.
