Might even want to stretch it out further if you're doing WW online. Weight can really fluctuate within a few days....if you're doing everything right, eventually the scale will reflect it. I know how tempting it is to jump on that scale - but it is just as likely to disappoint you as it is to encourage you. And if it's a trigger for you to go off plan, you need to avoid it as much as you can. |
If you do not already exercise, maybe it is something you should consider. It helps to reduce fat while building muscle, so even if there is not much happening on the scale, you will see progress by loosing inches. It will also change your hormone balance, so it will be easier to circumvent emotional binges.

Don't skip a meal, but make some consequences. Give up your fruit, or your salad dressing, or something, at the next meal or two, until you make up the calories. Once you've "paid it back," you'll feel better about yourself, and you'll think twice before you go off plan again, knowing you'll have to give up something to make it up.

I am doing the online. I have the scale right by my bed. I need to move it so that I am not tempted. I do pack and plan my meals ahead of time

Making an early mistake and finishing the rest of the day on plan. Most people don't - they throw themselves down the stairs. Try it. It's a feeling of accomplishment in itself. |
You could exercise to get rid of those extra calories and go about your day as planed. This way you won't have to just eat a salad if u planed on having steak.
