Hey guys, so yesterday I reached my initial goal weight of losing 50 lbs. I'm 5'8 and have gone from 191 to 141 in the past 8 months. I was super excited and proud of myself for reaching my goal, and then at work the same day a guy came by and squeezed my upper arm/shoulder and said "hmm" with a confused sound in his voice.
When I asked what was up, he said "I thought you would be more toned, since your so thin." And made a comment about how deceiving it was that I looked thin but really am not tight. He's a nice guy and wasn't trying to be a jerk, but it upset me anyways, I'm very aware that I am mushy and need to tone up.
Anyways, just needed to vent..I can't believe that the same day I was celebrating a 50 lb loss, I was told I need to hit the gym.

Sounds like a classic case of foot-in-mouth syndrome - he probably didn't mean to be insulting but geez! Think before letting the words fall out of the hole in your face!
You've done a fantastic thing for yourself - be proud and don't let anybody else's thoughtlessness dampen that accomplishment. Congratulations!!
Good for you!!! Congratulations on the 50 lb. loss! Don't let other people's insensitivity bother you. If anything, pity the guy for having zero social skills. I'm sure you look amazing--just feel good about all you've accomplished. You deserve to feel good about it!!!
