I measured mine this morning and it was 27 1/2 just now it was almost 29 inches. If its not morning everything u have ingested today will add to it. I am not even retaining water I think because I didnt have too much sodium. When I have Tom it goes up a lot too. If u just don't mean it's bigger just today but as of lately, could it be other parts of you are shrinking therefore your stomach looks bigger. We all start to gain and lose in differnt places. Like some woman gain onthere butt and thighs others on their stomach and arms. Same goes for losing. If I don't make sense I just took ambien and since I should be asleep I tend to write weird thing. Hope I helped cause Thas looney girl needs to get to sleep. Thank god for word correct.
I carry my weight in my gut. It's huge. and since I've started to lose it's dropped lower, which has actually made it look bigger and my pants tighter because of the way the belly falls.
I think there is also something about getting mushier as the fat cells get ready to give off the fat? (yeah, that sounds very scientific! lol!) But I do see that in myself, and things definitely get softer and flabbier looking even as the numbers on the scale go down.
My stomach is lopsided!! It's poofier on the right side than the left no matter how hard I suck it in. Looks really wierd when looking down at it...
My sister said that right before she loses weight in an area it tends to get softer and mushier.
I think my stomach looks bigger too even though it can't be as my clothes sizes are going down.
I think it's because my legs are getting thinner and stronger, I lost almost all of my butt "shelf" (isn't that a disgusting description?), my boobs are finally independent and not resting on my upper stomach (you can see where each stops and begins). I know I am not painting a pretty picture here. Now it seems that my belly area (esp. under my belly button down to my pelvis) is waiting to catch up to everything else and I hope it does soon. It almost just hangs there (for a lack of better description). Wearing tights or my Spanx-type footless tights kinda pulls it all in tight together and I almost look normal in clothes. But without clothes, blech! I never paid as much attention when I was over 300 but now that I am thinner, it doesn't look hardly as good as I thought it would.
You aren't alone, we are all right there with you.
That happens to me on occasion. I believe it's called pregnancy
You must be due very soon as your ticker says March! Are you having a boy or a girl?! I'm so excited for you!!!
(Please ignore my post if it's too invading, I am having fertility issues and seeing a specialist next month to see if he can help me before I have a hysterectomy. Babies make me so happy! I am only brave enough to ask you since your reply referenced your pregnancy. )
Thanks for the encouragement ... I think its a mix of things ... my period that just started today and the fact that my legs are getting thinner causing it to be more noticeable. I simply can't wait for my waist to get small enough to go down a size!
We had our measurements taken today for the 8 week Biggest Winner Challenge. I don't quite recall my beginning measurements, but I swear I've actually gotten bigger in my waist and gut. I'll see when the PT posts our stats, but I swear things are going teh wrong direction... which had NEVER happened before. I don't know how that is possible as I've gone down 14 pounds so far (now "should be" about the time I get at least some kind of whoosh). And I had a loss today (1.2 from last week). So, if I'm bloated, it's all in my gut. Ugh...
So frustrating, this weight is way more stubborn coming off the second time than the first time.

Ha! There's no such thing as too probing, it's the Internet
We don't know what we're having, it's the last big surprise in life! I'm full term this Sunday and officially due on March 24th. We'll see when this one shows up, as my other kids were all overdue to varying degrees.
I wish you the very best with your fertility issues and hope the appointment goes well! It is SO hard to want a baby and have difficulty conceiving or remaining pregnant . Big hugs to you
