This is definately a going to be a challenge for me this month here at work. It's a 2 person office, just me and the boss, and he's rarely in office. He's basically in retirement mode..lol...he comes in before me, makes my coffee, waits for me to get in and leaves for the day, checking in by phone thru-out the day. The challenging part is the clients that bring in the goodies and there's no one else in the office to take them! I have a plate of home-made pralines, devinity and fudge sitting on the front of my desk as I type this from a client this morning. Most of our clients 65+ in age, so you can imagine the old fashioned goodies I see brought in :) no sugar free/good for you/healthy stuff! LOL

It's bound to pay off though so I'm going to keep working hard. So much I want to accomplish in the next few months and I'm not letting anything stop me! |
Dancer - I noticed that as well! You've surpassed me now by about 2 lbs of loss though, so congrats! I definitely hope we both hit our goals, if we made it out of the 180's we can do this too right? :lol:
Well I was up .2 from yesterday on the scale, but I'm thinking the fact I didn't hit the box until 6:30 last night has something to do with that. On the bright side, I had a GREAT NSV last night at and MURDERED the WOD. The strength portion involved back squats at a tempo (sitting for a solid 2 mississippi seconds below parallel in the squat before rising up to finish the rep), reducing the reps but adding on more weight with each set. My highest weight was a 145# back squat @ 4 reps using that tempo! I didn't think I would make it up on my last rep, everything in me said BAIL OUT but I was NOT going to let the last rep take me down. So yeah the scale might be up by .2, but I still feel very good about yesterday. |

parktrot - sounds like you are getting some great workouts. I need to start doing weights more often. I don't seem to have trouble getting myself to run about 5x/week but that's about it. *sigh* |
lockitup- Dang girl, your stretch goal may not be such a stretch! Your like a work horse at losing weight. You keep going strong and steady!.

Weigh in today was not good! Thought I had a great week, stayed under calories, upped my exercise a bit, and bam, went up 2.6lbs. Very discouraging. Makes me nervous for the next few weeks as there are lots of parties/dinner, etc. Think I am gonna give myself a 'back-up' goal of ending the month at my SW.

Dancerindenver - I wish I could have some of that dedication on my end for running! The reason I'm able to motivate myself to hit each day at the gym is I'm in it for sport as well as fitness, but I'm supposed to be hitting AM runs in edition to workouts every AM but I just CANNOT motivate myself to go on runs for some reason. Maybe throw some of that runner's willpower dust over my way :lol: .
Well I was 178.6 on the scale today, but unfortunately I have had the binge to end all binges today, at least by my standards. I'm on a type of BC that gives me only 4 periods a year due to the fact I have a horrible, uncontrollable appetite the first 1-3 days of my period. It's one of the main reasons I gained weight when I was having a period once a month. Well although I was not due for one, thanks to stress from dead week, I've got a random one popping up. Thus my appetite is going insane, but now that I realize whats going on I'll just be more on top of it tomorrow and have all my meals preplanned and a timer set for my meals. As ridiculous as it sounds, if I don't do that for the first few days I will eat E-V-E-R-Y-THING in sight. |
