Does everyone gain weight near their time of the month? I've been doing pretty good started 10/18 and down 10 lbs but this morning no change (AF was due yesterday

I don't really know anyone that doesn't gain a little bit of water weight during TOM, haha. It's just our bodies retaining a little bit of water and being a bit bloated (or in my case about 3 pounds bloated, haha).

I definitely do also! So badly so that my mom notices a difference. I get super bloated and the scale usually goes up about 3-5 lbs. I would wait and weight yourself until AF is completely over. (:

The smaller I get the more I notice (somewhat because of the fit of clothes at this size vs. 100-ish pounds ago!). Bloating is normal, don't worry about it. The scale will respond when the hormonal water retention subsides

I'm that woman. No water retention during or before TOM. Also no PMS, and my breasts weren't tender during my pregnancies. Not sure why, because my hormone levels have always been normal.

I gain about 1-2 lbs for a week or so, but it drops right off and the lbs that I should've lost drop off too - so I'll go a week+ with no change or a slight increase, then suddenly lose 3-4 lbs

Oh I don't even weigh myself during the week of my period at all because I can "gain" anywhere from 3-8lbs of water retention bloat. It used to really mess with my head but there is a definite pattern because the following week I'm back to where I was (or lower if I've lost).

About a week before, I start gaining steadly, up until the day it starts...then all the weight comes off....anywhere from 2-6 pounds xD...I stopped weighing the week before my period since seeing the weight gain(even if I knew what it was) drove me bonkers

I usually gain 5-10lbs, and then when I release it all I usually have also lost 1-3lbs. So it's nice to sometimes see a 13lb drop overnight. XD

Yep. I actually bloat and retain water around AF AND ovulation. So, twice a month.
