  • I had this problem for a while. I had grease burns all over my right shoulder, it freaked me out so much I thought maybe it was really skin cancer! lol It wasn't, I found online that you mix baking soda, sugar and honey together, rub it over the area for about two minutes to exfoliate it, and you do this a few times a week. The dead skin just sloughs off and it works quickly and mine had been there for about a year. They also said to put lemon juice on it to brighten the area. Should work, haven't tried it yet.

  • I love to use Calendula Oil on burns. Also, I don't suggest putting Arnica Montana on a painful wound. It's better for bruises but if you put it on a burn or cut it would hurt a lot....as far as I know. Maybe there's a special Arnica cream for cuts/burns that I'm unaware of. You could take the arnica orally and that would help without hurting but it's best to use it immediately after the incident.

I hope you feel better soon! Ouch!
  • Quote: Soooooooo no vitamin e?
Vitamin E capsules would not be the same as applying oil to your skin.
I get my information from Medical authorities, I had to have radiation treatments, radiation leaves your skin susceptible to sunburn. My oncologist and radiologist recommend the Aloe Vera and for a lotion Eucerin body lotion doesn'r contain oil but does contain Vitamin E.
