I woke up with my right knee twitching well it's the upper inner muscle and it's thumping away, how annoying I can't seem to move it to a position that will stop, any hints on how to stop this?
I used to get this in my shoulder when I was doing a lot of upper body training. Not sure of the cause but I believe my muscles were fatigued. I scaled back on the number of days I did upper body training and I would do a deep massage over the whole muscle and make sure I stretched before bed and after I woke up. I know it's so annoying! Just listen to your body and try to take a break from your normal routine.
Muscle spasms could be a lack of potassium. Foods like bananas are rich in that, so maybe up your dose if you're not eating potassium regularly?
Also, the above poster could be correct with muscle fatigue. I saw that you were doing 30 Day Shred. Maybe you're over exerting your muscles with this?
