Fluctuations?
I got down to 189 then I gained 5 pounds over a few days which may have been from drinking and going a little over my calorie limit. I've started cutting back and making better decisions and here I am at 189.8 again. Yay victory is MINE :carrot:
I'm going to make an effort to really stay on track if I give up now it would be like giving up on myself. It just goes to show that if your calorie counting you really have to count every single bite and be accountable. I am wondering if this was just a fluctuation though, seems odd to gain five pounds over a three day span. |
My weight can totally go up or down about 5 lbs in a week. For example, today I saw 153 on the scale. Tomorrow it could be up again or down lower. I bounce around a LOT. I didn't used to, but I do now.
What I eat/drink can influence it of course, but even if I eat clean my weight fluctuates. Don't let it get you down - so long as the overall TREND of your weight is a decline, you should be fine. |
Calorie counting or not there probably will be plateaus and fluctuations even due to water weight, if you go on the scales every two weeks if you can then that would maybe help stop the head wrecking.

Weight fluctuations are normal, so it was probably a combination of that and exceeding your daily calorie limit. Still, it's great that you quickly lost those 5 pounds and you're back on track. Great job!
