  • My first month I exercised like a madman 5-6 times a week and after a month of effort I had lost zero lbs.

Exercise is great for your health but it really doesn't burn that many calories.

    Just something to think about.
  • Thanks everyone. I've learned a great many things through everyone's tips. I think that I might get a scale, only if anything to learn about portions and anything else that you all mentioned.

I haven't touched the scale in a couple of days, I really needed to give myself a break from that. I have been monitoring my caloric intake as strictly as possible with the "eye ball" method. I haven't been feeling as hungry lately, and that's mainly because I added more protein to my meals. I truly believe that I was overly depriving myself. My intent overall of course is to be healthy, but I want to be healthy and make sure that I am getting the nutrition my body needs. I feel better for it.

I'm also going to push through my exercises. I was talking to a friend at work and he echoed some of the things that I heard here. First and foremost, change it up! I'm stuck exercising indoors for so many reasons, but I can get access to GameFly, so I think that I'll start looking at other games for the xBox360 that are out there that work for me.

Thanks everyone so much. Your support is so appreciated!
