Well, I was getting just a tad worried a few weeks ago, but luckily have had a killer last two weeks. Lost another 3 this week. So I have 9 to go in 4 weigh-ins... so I need 3 2-pound weeks and a 3-pound week. A challenge, but if things keep going the way they are lately I am feeling good about getting there.

Was already thinking about doing a Memorial Day to Labor Day challenge after this, it would be 14 weeks, if anyone would be game. We could post it at the end of the month. I mentally do better with thinking in longer terms than one month at a time, especially with weighing in weekly. |

These challenges help me to keep focused and I would love to do another, but I think I like these Holiday goals such as 4th of July and then Labor Day. The last time I was in the 200's was 2006. I had lost 100 pounds and then my mother died in March 2006. When I flew out to help my sister clean out the house she and I would work a couple of hours, then get out of there and go to the casino to cheer up a bit then we would stop at Mrs See's candies on the way back to my mother house and we would sit down and cry and eat that box of candy and then repeat the process over and over again. Lifes lesson, do not use food for comfort. I now have a nice cup of hot tea to soothe me down. |
I'm sorry to hear about your mom, Sally. That definitely will do it. And I can completely relate. I have always struggled weight-wise, but what really got me to where I am is the same kind of thing .... dealing with emotions with food after a loss and just letting it take over everything from there.
I was thinking about the same thing this morning, with the 100's. Haven't seen that since 2001! And even then it was briefly, before that it was 1996! AH! It's going to be so weird when I finally see that 1 again! Hoping it'll happen in July at some point! |

You could be posting a number that starts with ONE next week at your rate! And great on the challenge, let's do it!! We have a vacation in August.. a BEACH one that requires a, gasp, bathing suit!! LOL So it will get me smaller before I get there, and keep me on track through that week too knowing I'm in the middle of a challenge. |

Wouldn't it be amazing if I had a whoosh and never ever ever saw 2xx ever again!!?!?!?! It WILL happen this week! I decided I needed to start counting calories again and switched from sparkpeople to myfitnesspal, I like it a lot better. I figure if I wanna make my goals I need to make sure EVERYTHING is in order!
