Sorry for being so scarce lately! I have been faithfully reading all the posts this week... but not posting myself. Well, WI Wednesday brought me home (along with some nudging by a couple of my favorite gals here). I'm down 2 pounds this week for a total of 124 pounds lost! That makes 146 pounds currently! I've updated my journal if ya wanna hear me go ON AND ON about it! :lol:

Hi gang...

I'm still hangin' in there...just called in sick to work tonight, I told them I doubt I'll be in tomorrow. :o I tried to make an appointment to see the doc today and I was told that I need to give the medicine a chance to work! OOOH that pissed me off! It's not like I want to be dragging my butt out into the freezing wind for the fun of it, I just thought that since he hadn't seen me in the first place....ah whatever...I'm half tempted to call my insurance co. and find a new primary physician. I'll give this one more day, but I'm tired of feeling so lousy. I do keep getting on the scale though...a bit obsessively, I might add... I'm scaring myself! It says 248 today. :D

Hey Sara! There you are! i was wondering where you had gotten off to! Good to see you're still with us! Pop in more often!

I just put a load of wash in, a load in the dishwasher, cleared off a few counters and now I'm ready to rest again. I feel like such a slug, but I gotta do what my body tells me to do...I'll be back later.

Didn't do my usual post this morning. I got to go and sit for the stinker all morning. What fun that was! He took me to lunch and I was a very good girl. I had 1/3 serving of the pasta with marinara, a breadstick, and salad with as much of the dressing wrung off as possible. (I forgot to ask her not to put it on the salad)

Kat: I sure hope you get to feeling better soon!

Mary: Sounds like you had fun! Tomorrow is my busy day and I plan on getting the nails, the car and the hair done! I cannot stand my hair any longer. I look like a 60's British rocker without the lips!

Well, I had another revelation today! I don't drive our car much. Jack takes it to work everyday and we spend all our time together and heaven forbid he let me drive with him in the passenger seat! I discovered there is room between me and the wheel without the seat being tilted back some! Jack drives with the seat all the way back, steering wheel tilted all the way up and the seat straight up. Until now, when I would get into the drivers side, I would have to tilt the seat back a little because I rubbed the steering wheel and it drove me nuts.

Well, I have to run or I am going to be late picking the dh up.

Im still on track!!! Tomorrow will be 3 weeks for me and I am doing great. I havnt been this good in so long, so I'm really thinking I have found the light (so to say) And for all wondering.....YES!!!! I did my :jig: that makes 4 days in a row....:high: high five for me...

So let me tell you about my interesting conversation with my dear mil today. Oh I was :mad: ....I say to her, that I'm doing well on my new found life and that I am down probably 12 lbs in 3 weeks but that tomorrow would be the official day of truth. I also tell here me of all people have now exercised 4 days in a row, and she says well you know if you do more than 3 its not really gonna help!!! :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: Now, I dont know about any of you but I have never ever ever heard such a thing as that:?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: I do believe that the more you do the better for you????Am I wrong? I'm beginning to think dear mil is not happy with my new way, yet in the next breath she asks me for a copy of my WW book so she can try it? I tell her not to discourage me and tell me stuff like that, that I am truely trying to change my life!!!! She kinda says sorry. RRRRRRRRRRR No offence to any of you that are going through the menopause thing, but my word I will be so happy when she gets over it, seems like its been years now??????? She also takes Zoloft to control her depression, I think she depends on them too much, she thinks everyone should be on them and always says to excuse her that its her medicine talking:o . I think it needs to be readjusted!!! Anyway just wanted you all to know that I did stick up for myself to her on the exercise issue.

So glad you are all here to listen to all my troubles. Wish I could really give you all a real hug, but this one will have to do. Someday we will have to have a reunion somewhere!!!!!
