No clue but definitely early on. I was always chubby as a kid, not fat per se but taller than most kids and stalky. I know for sure in early elementary school I was teased for being "fat". I also know my parents tried putting me on a diet (not really stringent or anything...) when I was in elementary school too.
It's funny because I even remember saying to a relative when I was really young I wasn't that big (thinking about my preschool time) and that relative responded "nope you were
always big".
The irony is that I had a growth spurt and just watched a bit what I was eating before HS and slimmed down a lot. So I don't think my chubbiness was even due to being fat but more my body waiting to have a growth spurt.
What drives me nuts, though, is that I
still get a lot of assumptions about my weight from family members who haven't seen me in a while. I just try to put my fingers in my ears and ignore it. It does drive me nuts because it comes from people who are normally very supportive.
