I'm just curious, for those scale hawks, how many days do you normally find it takes to lose the water weight you gained from your period?
Does it happen the day your period starts or does it seem to take a few days after the bleeding has stopped entirely??

For me, I gain up to two pounds (it's getting better, used to be four) and it drops off a few days after my TOM ends. If I record my weight while retaining water, I always put a note next to it so I remember it's not real weight gain nor real weight loss.
I find that I lose all of the water weight by the third day of my period. I can go up anywhere from 1kg to 2kg (2-4lbs). hope that helps.
For me it's also partway through the period, maybe day 4 or 5. I gain a couple of pounds max in the few days prior - so it stays on about a week.

I really appreciate all your answers. I'm sort of new to this whole "scale" thing. I don't get on very often (to avoid obsessive behavior). I looked through past threads to try to find an answer, but no one seemed to ask this particular question.
