WoW! NSV
My fingers are shrinking!!!
My Wedding band and engagement ring are too big now. ;) I think I may have developed an allergy to them too, though. :?: I have a red rash where my ring sits. |
that is so awesome! I wonder if you are getting a rash from it bouncing around on your finger. If you can get some green floral tape and wrap it, it will help. That way, you don't have to have it sized yet again when you get to goal. You can also buy some temporary sizer things on ebay.
Even if you just let it bounce around, that's okay too! :) Doesn't it make you feel great? |
You might have an allergy to nickel, if it's a red rash. Do your rings have nickel in them? Depending if they are gold (pink gold) and the amount of K in the gold, nickel might have been used.

They are 14K gold. I have a 10K gold ring on my other hand that doesnt cause any issues... :?:

Sorry to hear about the rash...but the NSV is awesome!!! Way to go!!!!

AWESOME! Way to go!

What type of gold? White gold contains an insane amount of nickel and I can no longer wear my wedding ring. :( |
You just need to stop wearing your rings for a few days and put some neosporin on the red area. It's a bacterial infection. Several of my friends have had it recently. It will go away.

Yellow gold.

Ok...I have to ask
I see tons of acronyms and I don't know what any of them mean.
What is NSV? Anyone know what DH is? If you want to give me some more to look for that would be most awesome too. LOL thanks...Lorna P.S. Congrats on the weight loss. Keep at it! |

Go Girl! Sometimes I get soapy water trapped under my ring from washing dishes (or just washing hands) and it causes a little irritation. Taking it off and dosing it up with antibiotic lotion usually does the trick. Maybe now that it's loose, there's room for stuff to get trapped under it!
