  • You know what though?
Those "before" photos will soon become something you really like to look at to see how far you've come. If you can (which I can't!), use them as motivation. If not, put them away for 3 months and then take more pics and compare. Trust me, it feels great to see how much better you look!!
  • At least you realize now. It can be hard to tell sometimes. I didn't even notice I gained ten pounds at first.
  • This is definitely me. Even though I know I'm overweight, whenever I see photos of myself it absolutely doesn't match my mental image. I definitely think this only helped me gain weight. I wonder if this means that once we reach our goal weights we'll have less of an issue with adjusting to thinking of ourselves as slender.
  • I soooo relate....when I stand in front of the mirror I think I don't look so bad....and then I see a picture that might have been taken without my knowledge (no sucking it in or hiding behind someone else)...omg....I look horrible. Is this how others see me...of course it is. I took some pics this week of my "before" since I only started my weight loss journey a 11 days ago. I can't wait to look at those pics as the "old" me.
  • I am so sorry. i TOTALLY understand. I've wanted forever to get professional family pictures, and I finally sucked it up. The pictures were SO GOOD...and I was SO BIG. :-( It rocked my world. But you know what? Those are my official BEFORE photos now.
