Have you had an upper GI?

What foods are you eating?

Is there nausea associated with the vomiting?

I would suggest that you see a different doctor ASAP. Not being able to keep food down may be indicative of a serious medical condition (besides the GERD). It can also lead to you becoming dehydrated and malnourished.

i second that....you need to see another doctor...there is no way a doctor should just shrug his shoulders and not know what to do to help you...GERD is fairly common and there should be more he can do...that's why i second seeing another doctor....

in my experiences, food allergies dont' always include vomiting the food back up....allergies include itchy skin, rash, swelling of lips/tongue/throat, all or any of those, as well as possible difficulty breathing....i am experienced with children who have food allergies including up to possible shock reaction...some of my students have carried epipens due to food allergies

you may indeed have something else going on besides GERD or an allergy

Many autistic people have an "intolerance", (not allergy) to gluten and casine, the proteins found in wheat and milk. Eating these foods don't cause the typical allergy symptoms, though they do cause acid reflux, brain fog, and chronic constipation with intermittent diarrhea. Basically the gut can't break down the proteins properly.

Do you have any other digestive issues? Have you been to an autism specialist? Autism has been found to be connected with many GI issues and a GF/CF diet has been found to help many of these problems in some people with ASD.
