Default Late, can't sleep, trying to resist snacking urge..

So it's late, I can't sleep for unrelated reasons, and I have the worst urge to snack. Trying so hard to resist until I'm actually tired, and I know I'm just slightly above my calories for today already. Really don't want to give in since I've been slacking recently. Arghh.

Do you always feel hungry at night? How about the morning?

I like to eat at night which is one of the reasons I do intermittent fasting. Check out the thread - maybe it's for you.

So, doopdoop, how'd you do last night? And I do intermittent fasting too but my snacking time is in the afternoon so I eat between 8am and 3:30'ish. But I agree with John.....if you find yourself hungrier at night, IF might be a good way to go!

Sometimes I will save cals for a little night time snack. Other times I won't save cals and will brush my teeth early. Then just drink water.

If I'm really hungry and have already eaten enough for the day I'll make misto soup a lot of times (just the broth, it's good stuff!).

I did alright last night, ended up snacking on some baby carrots, and eventually passed out around 2:30.

Already, I'm having the same problem again. I've had pretty much all my calories for the day (got over zealous with snacking), but now I'm craving something carby. Blargh.

I have the same problem. It's pretty annoying. Some nights I actually get sick. Tonight, for example, it's only 7:20 and I only have 200 calories left. Not cool! I'll probably be up til 12, too, at least. I tend to have popcorn in the evenings with a big glass of water, and that holds me over. If I'm still hungry, I grab a slice of cheese before bed.

I know what you mean though...I miss pizza rolls at 2-3AM, or grilled cheeses..yum.
