We just came in from a 45 minute walk...son, dog and I. He will be starting a new school next year, so we timed the walk...about 15 minutes there, (but we DID have the dog with us, so it will be a few minutes less, if you don't count her pit stops! I wouldn't let her stop for longer than a sniff though, I brought no poop scooping acoutrements with me! I figure that's what the woods behind the school are for!) We circled the school and the fields twice (15 min) and back home again. It's exactly 32 degrees out, so it's not too cold, just nice and brisk...I love walking this time of year! So there's TWO DAYS IN A ROW! Eating is somewhat better today and 48 oz of water have been consumed, so I'm easing back to the "good side."

I didn't try the Pilates tape yet, maybe when I'm done here, so that I can give a review to you chickies. I have dinner on the stove, 2 loads of laundry done, I even managed to get my son to scrub the bathtub and clean the bathroom with a promise of playing his new Lord of the Rings game with him! I lost...well not really, my bathroom is clean! We decided that we're going to read The Hobbit together. I really miss reading to him at night, (I think he does too!) So we'll take turns reading to one another...then we'll move into the trilogy...I never got into it years ago, when everyone else did...now that I know the story somewhat, I'll give the books another shot!

Well, not much else to report on this front...

Hi ladies... I sure do miss you guys. I am soooo busy.
I went to the movies today. We saw "Catch Me if you Can".
It was pretty good. It is based on a true story. And the person it is about now lives in Tulsa Ok.

My food is not too great. But I sure have enjoyed everything I have eatten. I have NOT over eaten... well ... let me rephrase that... I have not pigged out. LOL I have overeaten. I am cutting back now... but I am waiting to be "serious" until after Jan 1st. WE are having an O.U. Football Party New Years Day. We are in the Rose Bowl Wednesday. GO BIG RED !!!!!!! Sooners Rule !!!!!!!
I set up a table as a football field....lines and all.
I have the fake grass and goal posts and even little helmets to represent the players. We have a pot that everyone puts into and the winning score gets the money. No big money.... only bet 10-25 cents per square. Decorate Red and white... and of course prizes for each quarter. I got a huge 3 foot by 5 foot OU flag for xmas. LOL

Any way.... Jan 2 I am back and I am going to WIN this weight loss journey. But I am not going to gain until then either.

Well friends... I am out of here again for the night. I don't have access to the computer late at night because my computer is in the guest room... and someone is sleeping in there every night.
I will try to get in as much as possible.

Mine was okay but I couldn't shake the feeling of "lack" with my job
situation. I know "this too shall pass" but it hasn't yet!!!

I desire a "new" attitude by Jan 1st.....HELP ME!!!! Actually, I do
feel I have a better outlook but have to find a better paying job. I also
HAVE TO get into weight loss with some serious effort.
No more dinging around....(that's a technical term) I have
been a slug for the last couple months. I won't be able to do much else so
I may as well exercise over the next few months.

Sara, I have to get a "before" picture from your website so I can put it
with the after and get my incentive going. What was that website addy,
again?

I really enjoyed the picture exchange. I can think of your name and
actually know what you look like. It makes you all more "real".

A Good Christian Wife

There was a man who had worked all of his life and had saved all of his money and was a real miser when it came to his money.
He loved money more than just about anything, and just before he died, he said to his wife, "Now listen. When I die, I want you to take all my money and put it in the casket with me. Because I wanna take my money to the afterlife with me."
And so he got his wife to promise him with all of her heart that when he died, she would put all of the money in the casket with him.
Well he finally died. He was stretched out in the casket, the wife was sitting there in black, and her friend was sitting next to her.
When they finished the ceremony, just before the undertakers got ready to close the casket, the wife said, "Wait just a minute!'
She had a box with her, she came over with the box and put it in the casket. Then the undertakers locked the casket down, and they rolled it away.
So her friend said, "Girl, I know you weren't fool enough to put all that money in there with that man. "
She said, "Listen, I'm a Christian, I can't lie. I promised him that I was gonna put that money in that casket with him."
"You mean to tell me you put that money in the casket with the man?"
"I sure did," said the wife.
"'I wrote him a check."

Good Morning, everyone! Did you miss me? I haven't meant to be AWOL, but Christmas turned into a 3 day weekend as a 'showgirl' once again. I just can't seem to turn down these $450-$500 weekends! Go figure!

We're counting again for Lord of the Rings. The theatre was really packed yesterday and last night until about 10:00 PM and then the place died. I haven't seen anything like it. The last two shows had 80 and 49 people. Amazing. They were using a 549 seat auditorium to show the movie to 49 people!!! Guess they all got good seats!

I'm off doing some camera shops today. Does that make me a centerfold? Ok, probably not! I'll have to work some on that one. I got 5 instant cameras to use for Christmas and all I had to do was take the pics, turn them in, and report on how the developing is handled. I talked to my niece (the one with the new baby) and she took 3 of them for Christmas pics. I've got to run in a minute to pic them up.

2cute: Sounds like you've been a very busy beaver. I bet you're just having a wonderful time. I love how you get so enthused over OU in the bowl game. Didn't they play in a bowl game last year too? I remember you getting really excited and doing alot of 'football' planning for some party last year too. That's really neat!

Mary: Decorations down already? Yikes! I never get ambitious enough to take them down this early and besides, I like to look at them longer. I'm lucky if I get them down for my birthday in January.

Kat: Good for you getting out there and walking. You are my hero! I'm still sluggin' around here, eating everything in sight. I'm sure I'll have a gain on Monday.

Baylee: Sorry to hear you've been sick. At least you waited until after Christmas to come down with it. Hope you feel better REAL soon.

Lucky: Fingers crossed for your job. That sounds like a great opportunity for you. When will you know?

Tracy: WELCOME! I can't believe you've been lurking all this time without saying anything. YIKES! I can't keep my mouth shut that long! * It sounds like you have your hands full with two young sons. I'm glad you're able to stay home with them. * Where abouts are you from? The frozen NORTH, or the warmer SOUTH? We certainly have someone here from everywhere. (well, almost)

My food has been horrid! I need to get back on track. My motivation is to fit in the stadium seats at my son's college graduation the 3rd of May. So I guess I better get on the ball. I'm really bad because I've almost given myself permission to do whatever I want until the first of the year. It hasn't been an 'out loud' thing, but it sure is in the back of my head saying, "go ahead, you haven't treated yourself in a long time." The trouble is, I HAVE 'treated' myself far too many times or I would have been losing more. Our minds are a terrible thing. Time to start pumping the positive affirmations in once again. "I think I can, I think I can. I KNOW I can, I KNOW I can!" There, now maybe I can get back on the RIGHT road.

Well, girls, gotta run. Have to be at the theatre by 1:30 and need to make 4 camera stops before then. Take care my little sweeties. Love to all.

I'm in! I'm not sure if Thong Boy will make chat tonight...he's going to the Eagles/Giants game today. One of his suppliers works for Hess Oil and hosts an annual party at Giants Stadium in one of the cushy, enclosed seating rooms owned by Hess. The guy is an Eagles fan and there are not too many of them around here in Giants country, so he was thrilled to find another fan! Dh was more than happy to accomodate him!
He's been waiting about a year for this...like a kid going off to an amusement park, he was!

I have my nephews here again today. The older one asked me where we're going for our walk today. (!?!) Awww...they love it too! Well, he does...the younger one grudgingly goes along, but would be perfectly happy to park his butt in front of a TV and either watch all day or play video games...uh uh... not on MY watch, buddy!

Well, the coffee's finished...that means it's time for me to get my butt in gear and get on outside. Have a nice Saturday, gang!
