The average person can be quite comfortable basing a goal weight on what the BMI considers healthy. The healthy range for my height is 130-174. That's quite a large range.
I tend to disagree, and while some people use it as an excuse to weight more, anyone who is here and truly intent on losing weight and gaining health, will likely be honest with themselves about how much they SHOULD weigh.
I AM big boned. I have enough weight to lose than an extra 15lbs wouldn't make much of a difference, so deceiving myself and trying to mislead others does me no good.
