Off my diet but its out of my control
 

As the title states, I am so off my diet.

I was checked into the ER yesterday for an abcess i a rather uncomfortable and excruciatingly painful place. I was infected and my fever was 101.9. The last meal I had was 11:30am yesterday on plan.

Today, I finally got to eat at 6:30 pm but nly broth, jello and juice, most of which contained sugar.

I hope having sugar doesn't cause cravings to return but I can' worry about that at the moment. I just want to get better, see my kids and deal with the aftermath later.

I hope you get better soon ... sounds awful :(

I think you can be forgiven being aff plan !.... main thing I would say is just to get better ..... if its the wrong food in relatively small portions I think you'll be fine .....

Get well soon! If you're going to be there a couple of days, tell a nurse you have special diet requests! They should accommodate you!

Im sure its unbelievably hard and i cant say I understand, but try to stay positive. You seem like an amazing person.

I'm finally home and got to see my kids after four days though my mom's keeping them for the rest of the week.

The surgery itself wasn't so bad but the abscess was about the size of a tangerine so there's a large void that has to heal from the inside out. This wound has to be unpacked and repacked with gauze daily which is the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. It's so bad, it usually makes me vomit a few times so my diet doesn't seem to be a concern at the moment.

But I'm alive, I'm home, I got to see my kids and there is a light at the end of the tunnel, however painful it may be to get there. :)
