There is no candy, There is no candy, There is no candy, right! Now if I keep telling myself that, the big bag that my son brought home will just mysteriously disappear. There is no candy!!!

I'm with you! Its bloody upstairs in our living room full of Reese's peanut butter cups and good god, do they know my name. I had two today. Not even going to say how many last night!

All I know is...none tomorrow. THERE IS NO CANDY.

There is a massive amount of candy! However, none of it is vegan-friendly and thus I have no desire to go anywhere near it.

I have learned in this journey that sometimes the best thing to do is to really make there be no candy. You can throw it out!!!

Not sure where I saw this but most meats, especially poultry, has some degree of fecal matter in it and regardless of cleaning it. Eww. I don't eat meat so I guess I've dodged that bullet! Still, in Asia we serve chocolate covered insects that can be found at hawker centres :] That's a different cultures for ya!

Oh and back on topic.. Not a big candy eater here. I'd prefer to eat a loaf of bread. Still, throughout the entire month of October I think I've only consumed 2-3 sweets. No binging, just a taste. But my general rule is just to avoid that stuff period. Of course, I'm not going to throw out eating tasty treats entirely! I still got to live :] It's all a matter of managing what you put into your mouth.

I think some people in my office would be a little miffed if I took it upon myself to throw candy away that had been put out in the public area for everyone to enjoy. Probably not the best way to be popular around the office. ;)

Maybe I wasn't completely clear - I wasn't the one who put it there.

Anyway. Day 2 of not acknowledging that candy. It's going fine.

Yes, true! But I was thinking of the people who have candy (or no candy) at home or in their desks or cubicles.

I put a big sticky note on my boys Halloween bucket that says SELF-CONTROL. So far it's working. Unfortunately, I'm a huge fan of candy. I'm an all or nothing kind of girl, I wouldn't be able to just have a piece or two, that would turn into 20, so I'm staying away.
