Arrow Was lookin for fast results!
Ok! I have been on countless diets, did good for a couple of weeks, then gave up when it didnt fall off overnight or when i had slip ups! Well I started my lifestyle change on jan 1, 2010 as my resolution. Started at 204 lbs. and have been losing an average of 1 pound a week according to the app on my ipod touch. I record my weight every month on the 31st. Some months i lost around 4-7 lbs and one month i lost 1 and another i lost none. Well i am so pround of my butt! i have stuck hard to my resolution, ate what i craved but only in moderation and plugged along and i have never been able to say this in my entire life, but i am now down 35 pounds! Yep, back in the 169's Woot Woot! i really only have around ten to lose left! Holy cow! If i can come this far then anyone can!!! My life was calling and i finally picked up the phone! Good luck beautiful people of 3fc!!!!! So fast results wasnt what i was truly looking for! I was looking for real results! !!

Wahoo!! I agree! Fast isn't all its cracked up to be! I was looking for fast and tried fast for TEN YEARS! Well, it's only taken me 10 months to lose close to 70! I'll take 10 months of 70 pounds over ten years of losses and gains ANY DAY.

Once I let go of fast...the weight started coming off.

I was in the same boat as you, while I'm not losing the weight as quickly as I would like I am losing it, and it makes me happy.

I'm glad you realized this as this can derail a lot of people and their weight loss.

Congratulations!!! That was an important realization to come to...and I think most of us on this board have either come to that realization or are COMING to that realization now.
