Default Overindulging

Tonight, I had 2 helpings of popcorn. 4tbs of kernels, air popped, no butter, with powdered flavoring (so 120 calories, plus flavoring which is like 2 calories)

Is that absolutely horrible? If it makes any difference, I was really far behind on my calories today and had tons left. Is popcorn the same as eating bread and pasta, though? Because I really need to cut back on those two, but I'd like to start having popcorn a few times a week as a nightly snack.

Well its A LOT better than having a second helping of pasta or bread.

It IS high in fibre.

The only concern I would have is that the powdered flavouring might be high in sodium. Don't beat yourself up over it, just drink lots of water and keep on going!

No, popcorn is good for you because it has so much fiber in it. Especially since you didn't put any butter on it. And it is super low in calories. It's my fave snack, i have some almost every day.

how do you make the powdered flavorings stick to air-popped popcorn? my nutritional yeast always settles to the bottom

Goodness no it's not horrible. I think sometimes we are too hard on ourselves.

I sometimes eat an entire bag of Popsmart (not the little 100 cal bags) for my late afternoon snack. It helps me eat less at dinner..

Has not slowed me down yet.

Nothing is going to kill you or make you fat when you eat it in moderation as part of a controlled diet.

I put it in the bottom of a little plastic container with a lid, and dump the popcorn in THE SECOND I UNPLUG THE AIRPOPPER, so it's SUPER hot, and sna p the lid on and shake it. The popcorn is so hot when the lid traps the steam in idk, it sorat gives it a little moisture to stick to, but then when you take the lid off it's dried and has some stuck to it.

The fact that I had 2 servings. I mean 1 serving is pretty big on it's own, and I just went back for another lol. I guess it's not SO bad, but when I'd realized what I'd done (and I inhaled that stuff, too, I can't believe how fast it was gone, and I wasn't even "hungry", though I was craving sweets earlier) I was like
