One of my students just made my day. She asked if I wanted to buy a chocolate bar for their band fundraiser and while I politely declined (yay me- I LOVE those things) she said, "Gosh, Miss, why are you getting all healthy this year?" (I've had her 3 years in a row). Made me feel good that my kids are noticing. This is especially true since they are in middle school and kids in middle school never notice ANYTHING about their teachers

That is so awesome! I love middle school age kids - they are so "tough" but those little kids are still in there somewhere!
