Dealing With Nighttime Hunger

  • i use to have that problem...but now i eat dinner after my workouts. i think you're really hungry...eat something. a snack after workout is good. try a protein shake.
  • You could probably eat more calories. When I was in the 200+ range, I found I lost the most weight eating 1800 calories and I take it down about 100 calories when I lose a few pounds. I've been eating about 1700 lately. You probably won't gain any weight eating 1700 and you can always go back down, but it's like and extra snack in the evening.
  • I used to struggle with that, but I found if I had a low fat cheese string or low fat, low yorgurt right after I am done at the gym. Also, I add Benefibre to every glass of water, coffee and tea during the day and it just makes you feel full all day long.
  • Since it's after working out I would just have some protein, maybe a slower digesting one like casein or cottage cheese.

    otherwise if it's not after working out, for me atleast, I want to try to get out of the habit of eating at night. Even if it's a small snack, it's still keeping that habit of munching at night.
