It is with great sorrow that we (the moderators at 3FC) wish to announce the passing of one of our cherished friends. Meowee was the moderator of the Diabetes Support thread and well known throughout 3FC for her wit and warmth.
What began as a breathing problem just short months ago progressed very quickly to cancerous tumors in the brain and she died earlier today.
A few of us have met her and many wish we had. She'll be sorely missed.

I didn't know Meowee here in the forums but I also wanted to offer my condolences for all of you here that did. I have some online relationships with folks that I would certainly be grieving mightily if they were gone so I wanted to offer my thoughts. I know this is sort of a whole new way to relate and not too much experience with these circumstances in most corners of the web but be gentle with yourselves. You are also grieving.
