Default calorie cyclers.. i need help!

so as we remember i went dreadfully off plan on wednesday. ive been calorie cycling for 2 weeks and i think it really helped me bust through my plateau. according to my online calculator, my cycle goes

S - 1250
M - 1250
T - 1250
W - 1610
Th - 1250
F - 1250
S - 1450

now, wed was supposed to be a high calorie day, but i went above and beyond, lol. that being said, ive been perfectly on plan the last 2 days. should i do the higher calorie intake tomorrow? i dont want to screw up the cycling by having the same amount 6 days in a row, but since i went so high one day, do i skip the other high day?

thanks!!

Honestly, I don't believe it matters as long as you keep your metabolism guessing. But, if I were you I would personally eat the 1450 calories and continue your schedule from there. As far as i'm concerned, the point of calorie cycling is to keep your metabolism confused, and what better than to do what you normally wouldn't do? So I think you would be fine either way.

I agree with Jefferz, you're still cycling your calories, so what difference does it make if one is a little higher than you had hoped for? Your body doesn't know the difference between Mon and Thurs. I'd go with the planned 1450, same as with any other diet. Chalk up the off day to a mistake, and move on.

Your average over the week is 1330. Perfectly respectable for your goal range, I think. Have a look at what a high day will do to your averages and then see what you think.

Agreed with ^^

My calorie shifting totals have more to do with my planned schedule than the calendar day. I never shift the same two weeks in a row, in fact I rarely shift the same way twice.

Just make sure your weekly average is where you want it to be, don't go too high or too low on any given day - and go from there.

I agree about the "keep the metabolism guessing" advice. Also I use the plans for the day to determine if I am going to do a high day as well.
