Uh Oh… Odd Problem!

  • I think the bridal industry is the only industry that hasn't given in to vanity sizing.

And thistime is right about those photos. I hope you are more photogenic than I am, but I have fallen into the trap of thinking hey, it's not that bad. Or "but I carry it well and no one would ever guess how much I weigh" but photos usually take care of that little fantasy. Especially photos taken from the back (and video! egads!) as so many of the ceremony photos will be.

Keep doing your thing and just think how nice it will feel the week before when you MUST find someone to make it smaller because it's simply TOO big and will not do at all.
  • I hate looking in the mirror right before I go out and saying "hey, I look pretty darn good" and then seeing photos of the same night and well... yeahhh. Not so good! That is a great idea about the photos. I'll have to get on that right away

And with my health, I'm in surprisingly good shape. Never had cholesterol or blood pressure problems, perfect blood sugar, etc. The doctor always adds "But you ARE overweight" and I know this. I'm actually dieting to also head off any potential problems, which are more probable, considering my family history.

The wedding isn't my only motivation, but it is adding to it. I would LOVE to look much nicer (and smaller) come October, so I'm going to keep on keepin' on! The real goal is to become healthier in addition to looking healthier. I’m also finding out along the way that I have to “think” healthier… it’s difficult, but I’m determined!
