I want to share my progress...but before I do, let me tell you that with all my researching on the net, books and my own body.. I am finally losing, staying active and eating foods that I enjoy!!
Last week tracking my calories up to 3000 - 4000 daily... I lost 19 Lbs so far!!! Was 419 and now 400! I am drinking about a gallon of water daily, plus my walking, climbing stairs!!
I realized now that low calorie plans always makes me binged and craving so much food that I love. In the 1980s was on deal a meal(1400) and 1990s Slm fast (1200),. 2000, Weight Watchers (confused about calories).I always why I binged and gained the weight back..So from my years of hearing tips on weight loss efforts. Now I comprehend that I, we must eat more and staying active!!! The more you weigh, high calories as the weight changes, so does the calories and gradually learn to eat low as the weight drops of our ideal goal weight.
I am feeling wonderful and finally can say now that I am DOING IT!!!

Liliann, I'm so glad that you've realized this. Often times people begin big weight loss journeys eating like a thin person trying to lose the last 5 pounds, and that can have some really negative consequences. I'm a big fan of making gradual adjustments to the diet, at least in terms of calorie intake. And kudos on staying active --it's the best way to preserve your muscles as the pounds melt away!
