It depends. Sometimes you feel hungry when you're really just dehydrated, and some people are nighttime bingers, so setting a cutoff time may help.Originally Posted by CLCSC145
A couple of things I see on threads all the time that make people feel like they are trying to lose weight, but actually don't make much difference are drinking water and not eating after a certain time. Yes we all need liquids to function, but whether you drink all diet coke or a gallon of water, you aren't going to change the amount of weight you lose. And the time you eat is a lot less important than WHAT you are eating. Bottom line, eat less calories than you need and/or burn more calories through exercise. The rest is all just nice to have stuff.
