Hi everyone
This will be short I am expecting a call that may save us $500 a month in rent alone, and some sanity for me.. Over the weekend we looked at a 3 bedroom mobile home NICE sized kitchen and living room for $400 a month on its own land .. School district is 3rd in the state on how good it is, very very country .There are a few drawbacks though, one it needs repairs and fixing up and two it sits on the edge of a HUGE cornfeild ( I am talking I all I can see is cornfeild (at least if the cornfeild is there that means the neighbors are on the OTHER side of the feild whereever it ends that is) and three well there is a tractor company across the street but that is nothing at least the owner of the trailer isnt hard to reach if needed..( I guess he owns the tractor company) I know some people that live out there not too far away from the place we looked at and great place to go WALKING, hardly any traffic one of the people lives only 2 miles away Daughter is out of school now.. The principal suggested summer school but if we get this place well she might not need it..Country schools have a whole different standard of scoring then city schools. Son is excited he can wait to go and check out the new place on the outside. We are walking distance from a great deer hunting area and great fishing area and a river to swim in ( oh my I havent swam in a river since I was little ) Anyway let me talk about my scale..It didnt do a thing it is exactly the same as it was last weeek.. I will weigh myself on wensday to put down my offical Bday weight.. Then I can see if I lost 5 before my bday or not..Then I can set up goal #2 .. OK well Like I said I have to make this a quick one I will address you all either today or first thing tomorrow I have a ton of stuff to do so I will see what I can do |

Hope everyone had a nice weekend, ours was great! the weather was fantastic, everyone got along, all the fathers liked their gifts (always a challenge), the food was delish and so on. Speaking of food, I did ok this weekend. We grilled dinner both days and other than that, we did go out for lunch on Sat and I had a chix pita sandwich. Probably not the best choice but it just sounded so good that I couldn't resist. I kinda felt like I deserved it cause I got on the scale Fri and found out I'd lost 2-3#. I was happy cause it means I'm on the slide. It also confirms that what I'm doing really is working - lol! So after that I felt empowered and re-energized to keep going. Today the girls are at their dg's and I really should be outside working on that looming landscaping project but I just woke up from a nap and still have to workout. It's always nice to have people over but the next-day's clean-up really stinks! I guess it wore me out or I didn't get enough sleep this weekend cause I was just beat. Anyway, I'm off to get to business - not too many more hours before another t-ball game tonight and loads to do as always :dizzy: . Have a great day and hope to hear from everyone soon! |

How's everyone doing? It's sure been quiet here! We had a beautiful weekend, and fathers day was nice! Didn't do much but that's fine. Tomorrow is my weigh-in with WW, my first week has flown by and I love the plan. It's so easy, and I eat more than before I started. I just hope that the scales are my friend tomorrow night! :^:
My knee is finally feeling better, so I'll be getting back in the gym this week! :strong: But I don't want to over do it, and make it hurt again, so I'll probably just water walk. Have a good day, BBL |
Good evening, Mommies! I'm not going to try to address everyone individually. Those who know me probably are aware that I tend to make personal notes when something jumps out at me. The rest of the time, I swear it's not personal, I just have a major case of Mommy-brain and can't remember things past the time I read them.
I had a pretty good day, after a weekend of indulgence, that is! I read "Body for Life" over the weekend. At first I was gung-ho to do this 12 week challenge--6 small meals per day, and a pretty intense exercise session (though not too long) each day as well--but decided that the program is geared more towards people with less body fat to lose. I don't know . . . either that or I'm making excuses!;) In any case, the book did motivate me tremendously, and I got out of bed this morning and did my Firm Basics workout. It felt SO GOOD!! My eating wasn't quite as exceptional, but still better than normal for me, so I'll take what I can get, KWIM? Who's going to be brave and start Stay at home moms #50? Are we old now or what?! Have a great one! |
