LOL, if I eat things higher in fiber I am running to the bathroom! I haven't tried the bars, but they sound yummy.

Ha this must be why I'm so gassy lately! Literally the past few days I've been farting in my office hoping no one comes by lol!

I will definitely start using them for afternoon snacks instead lol.

I once ate 3 Kashi bars on an 8 hour road trip. Afterall, they are easy to carry along and are quite tasty. Needless to say, Hubby drove with the windows down.

Ughh, Fiber One bars.. I have a love/hate relationship with these things... they taste delicious but when you check out the ingredients, they're really just junk food and also (for me) nothing beneficial can come out of eating that much fiber at once.
Also, when I count it all up, I find I already get plenty enough fiber from all of the naturally fibrous foods I eat, so... I've given up on the Fiber One bars.

I have never tried them, the sound really good but I can't get past the HFCS thing. I try to avoid anything with that in it.

I have no problems with the fiber one bars.. I know your body has to adjust to the amount of fiber you are intaking.. you should keep track of how much fiber you are consuming and gradually increase it.. I am between 38-44 grams a day.. but at first it was hard on my stomach more gas than anything but now I am fine.. You just have to build yourself up.. you can't go from 15gr to 30grams and expect to be okay.. Just make gradual changes like everything else..

I give my 4 year old a Fiber One bar everyday. He's a very picky eater, and I can't get any veggies in him, and very little fruit, so Fiber One bars, and double fiber bread are on his menu everyday. He's never complained of gurgliness or a tummy ache, but now I wonder if he just doesn't quite know how to tell me that something is wrong.

I love them too! And they do the same to me. I do try to save them for when I am feeling a little "full".

Wow--unfortunately I gave into two binges yesterday and today. Yesterday I ate 3 of these bars (I bought a 30 pack from Costco--never again!) over the course of an hour or so in the evening, and then I did the same thing today. Both days, late at night (around midnight) I got really "sick"

I didn't even think about the Fiber One bars as the cause until I looked at my food journal. Wow. I learned my lesson. I mean, I SHOULD have known, but I was being lazy and mindless, which is why I had the binge in the first place. Thankfully I was still in my calorie goals both days, but why waste calories on weird ingredient, not even filling stuff like these over processed bars.

Funny thing is that I found this thread when I googled my problem!

I get gassy from them-- but they are so good!

I have taken Beano with them and it has helped!
