I hope to be at my mini goal of 173 at months end. I am just one pound away, but may get pushed off by my period . I went off plan for a couple of days, nothing too serious, not enough to gain a pound even, but enough to maybe keep me from hitting my goal as of Jan 31, may have to wait until the first week of February.
It is encouraging though, to see the possibility! I have been losing slowly with healthy dietary changes, and have been upping my exercise, but am not as consistent with it all as I should be. Have been struggling with a combination of stressors (my aging parents' health crises) and lots of time in cars to travel to them, or sitting in a hospital room. It was exhausting, even tho I was hardly getting any exercise. (you all would be proud of my use of stair cases to get to other parts of the hospital, even just to walk about)
Then the other night my daughters best friends' Dad died, and we have been providing support to the family. Some how all of this built to a head, and I overdid some chocolate, and overate some. ( it is great that these days my off plan times are still more controlled and less damaging than my everyday intake before I started this weight loss journey)
But now its time to get back on plan, stop making excuses, and get that last pound off, then get to the next little goal, to go under 170!
When I am away from here too long, I find it much harder to focus on my plans.
