  • I don't get how it figured out my waist size by my jeans size. I take quite a large jeans size because I have big legs, and usually need jeans taken in at the waist because I have a small waist.

According to this thing, I just need to lose another 2 inches from my waist to be healthy! Wow!

It said I should eat 1329 calories a day to lose 2lbs a week with light exercise.
I think that's about right, and aim for 1200 anyway.
  • Oh something I just remembered. I just watched the 1st season of The Biggest Loser and Jillian said that the red team should be eating 1200-1500 cals a day. I mean...don't they work out for hours a day? And only that little food?

And from what I've read, behind the scenes that while they're supposed to have a calorie minimum, many of the contestants "cheat in reverse" by shortchanging themselves on calories to try to win weigh-ins.

Me too. That made no sense to me. What if they asked for dress size? I've picked up a size 4 and been able to wear it. My clothing size doesn't tell you much.

I listened to an interview with Jillian about the show- and she said Biggest Loser is like the Olympics of weight loss- these people lose weight much more quickly than the average person- their diets are extremely controlled and they have doctors/EMT's available round the clock.

I think they are shocking their bodies into purging the fat- I wouldn't be surprised if they pooped pure fat! That show is grueling.

That's not good at all. Makes me wonder if that show is doing more harm than good.

Oh god...well, call me gross but I wonder if they DO poop pure fat! And what it looks like. I did two hours on the treadmill yesterday and I thought I was gonna die. I couldn't do what they do. Well. I COULD but do NOT want to.
