Gird Your Loins
It is time.
Oh, yes. It is the time of year that we hear 3 little words that strike fear into the hearts of the most disciplined health nuts. Prepare yourselves. It is time. Girl. Scout. Cookies. Be strong. We have started presales. I shall check in here with my commitments and updates. Good luck, my friends. |
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Not Samoas! They are my favorite cookie of all time. I simply cannot buy them or I can and will eat the entire box. Stay strong, Midwife! |

Our brownie (daughter of a dear friend) is possibly the cutest thing you've ever seen and she has these big brown eyes that pierce your soul so resistance is futile. |
I know it is. Despite having a no soliciting sign on my door, one of the dear darlings rang my bell yesterday. I told her I wasn't able to eat them and she quickly asked me to "donate" a box. :)

 Thank you for that luck!
*drooling over Samoas!* Those are my favorites. Thin mints do not come far behind. Dairy Queen also has a thin mint blizzard which is pretty good. Tagalogs are pretty great, too. AHHH! *Stays strong and puts up an iron will* Good luck to you all! ;) |
Oh, the Girl Scouts just happen to sell their cookies outside of every grocery store here, too  :o

So far nobody has come around my neck of the woods. Thx for the heads up!! :) |
I'm considering myself lucky that scouts over here don't sell cookies.... Do they go door to door in the states?
|
Oh my. Samoas are the best thing ever!!!!! I will have to stay far away!!

Speak. Of. The devil!!
I just got a call from our 6 year old girl scout representative wondering if I wanted to buy some girl scout cookies  6 year olds should NOT be allowed to use the phone. I'm even more weak against their powers. Edit: I should explain that the original "call" was from said brownie's mother, explaining that brownie would be calling to officially solicit us. |
I am never more grateful to work with a bunch of childless, older women than I am during Girl Scout Cookie season :)
